River "Miss Stephenson, wake up!" Our math teacher, Ms. Davis, shouts at the girl sitting next to me. I give her a gentle shake to wake her up, but as always, I get yelled at for it. She looked stunning—a deep blue dress that hugged her figure in all the right places, her hair cascading in soft waves around her shoulders. Fabio’s breath caught for a moment. It wasn’t just the way she looked, though she was beautiful—there was something about seeing her dressed up, outside of the usual chaos of diapers and baby food, that made his heart swell.
