CULLEN’s POV The rain poured heavily. The dark clouds loomed above, seething with fury. I sipped my bittersweet coffee as the Death Note on my desk began to glow faintly. I reached out and took it in my hand. An unfamiliar name appeared, along with the details of death. “Clark Stephen Daniel,” I muttered with a sigh. “Your time has come. I’m coming to collect,” I whispered, my voice void of warmth. It was time to reap his soul. The details were clear—he would die tonight, inside a nightclub.

The anticipation in the room was tangible, and I could feel the weight of impending doom hanging over me. "What is this? What evil game are you planning to play?" I gasped, my breath heavy from screaming and exertion. David cast a cold glance at Dane, who instantly understood his silent command. With a flick of a switch, the board slowly began to rotate, my body pressed against it. Panic surged through me as the rotation gradually picked up speed, and I let out a piercing scream. “We’re playing a game called darts.” He said just as the first knife came flying at me.

I didn’t dare look at the results, other than to see a thankfully low six on the numeral die. As I looked away I noticed Dante walking out of the far door, clearly not wanting to play Keaton’s new game. I immediately tore my eyes away and fixed them on Keaton, however. Each player rolls a die to decide their turn to smack the pinata, and the first person to break it open wins. The game was all about luck, and Zen swore it was rigged. The pinata eventually broke open even when Zen hit it with light taps. The candies that spilt from it entered Zen’s inventory. Gloomie’s happiness meter plunged, and Zen panicked when she wailed louder. “Do you like sweets?” he asked the NPC boss as water passed his knees, inching up his thighs. At this rate, he might not have fifteen minutes.

When he opened his hand, he saw that he had only rolled three points again. Diana took the dice and shook them just as before, then put the dice cup down on the table. Brandon instinctively swallowed hard. "I don't believe you can still roll one point!" Diana didn't say anything. She just slowly moved the dice cup away. Inside, three dice were neatly stacked on top of each other, showing one point! "Diana, you're cheating!" Before Brandon could speak, Ava jumped up and shouted angrily. Diana impatiently glanced at her. "Brandon brought the dice. I rolled them right in front of you. Can you use your brain before you speak?"
