Dusk and Ice

Dusk and Ice

The weather wasn’t the only difference between WhiSare and Down Hills. Where WhiSare was quiet and peaceful with friendly neighbors waving out windows, Down Hills was an edgy town with pubs at almost every corner. The road Kayla drove on led to the heart of town. The curbs were parked with people, trucks lined the streets and the front of every club. Leather jackets, fish nets, buckled boots, and skin-tight leather skirts made the outfits of the many party-goers that hung outside of open club doors. I recognized some people from school hanging around streetlights with flickering bulbs sharing liquor bottles and cigarettes. The town reeked of booze.

A Few Hundred Poppies

A Few Hundred Poppies

to have a crush, Aditi, is to submit to the truth that man deliberately seeks out sufferance. And, well, sex _ Dr. Amiruddin's dusty lawn and bright orange house (less house and more shack, really) stuck out wildly in the row of neat houses with neat picket fences and neatly planted flowerbeds. A pentagon-shaped garage constructed of pine wood and a tin roof stood at an odd angle on one side of the lawn, inside which was a car nobody had ever seen being driven in. Half a helmet and a pile of misshapen wood lay haphazardly on the other side. Beside the house, two ash trees stood forlornly, shrivelled but tall, a hammock dangling between them.

The Demon Mate

The Demon Mate

Turning the music off, I grab the lavender and put it in a tiny glass vase, and set it in the center of the long ebony black dining table. Walking out of the conjoined dining room and kitchen I grab my book, my water bottle, and a blanket. I set the water and blanket by the back door that leads to the porch, and the beach a little off, and head back to the kitchen with my book. Of human bondage, by W. Somerset Maugham. The book itself isn't bad, but from my point of view, it's terribly bland. I like more poetic works. But also a hint of darkness. The best example is the poem, In the Desert, by Stephen Crane, from his book The Black Riders and Other Lines. It has a sense of dystopia that I ca

Alexis

Alexis

Seeing Alexis so miserable, even Gina and Madam Lydiabecame remorseful, they as well became emotion too. "Alexis. Listen to me carefully, life is a bitch, it is a challenge, it is an hell hole for everybody, where the shark devour all other smaller fish so as to get fat,you knew my story, you knew about what life did to me, you knew what it turned me to.” Madam Lydia said, she sat down beside Alexis and she continued.

Danika Williams

Danika Williams

Danika Williams It was a tiring day, I was on the ramp all day, with those hot lights blasting on my face and high heels which I think were invented to murder feet. I just wanted to go home, shower and have sex with Henry. Henry wasn’t my friend or my boyfriend. He was a guy I have sex with sometimes when I am not dating anyone. He is totally gorgeous but unfortunately he is a dolt. You can’t have a normal conversation with him, his IQ is that low. But its good sex, also he just leaves after we are done so I don’t have to worry about getting rid of him like some other guys.

Daisy Hunter

Daisy Hunter

Opening the door, Christiana stood in front of her. "I forgot my handbag and umbrella at your house." "So sorry for the inconvenience." Her voice was laced with remorse. Staring at her, Daisy Hunter said," What, No, it's really okay…I too forget my stuff in people's homes." Daisy Hunter said, smiling gleefully, exposing her perfect dentition. Stepping into the dimly lit room, Christiana spotted her handbag and umbrella, grabbing it, she thanked Daisy and stepped out immediately.

Calder

Calder

The whole night I sat on the thin yoga mat mattress and stared at the dingy gray walls that are stained in stuff I really don’t want to know what its of. Coughing echo’s from a few cells and the cries of who ever Heaths pulled from cells for ‘questioning’, and me well I stopped singing and hour or so ago, after a guy named Pauly asked if he could fill my hole with his dick to shut me up. I have no idea if its still night or if it’s the next day, what I do know is that my stomach hurts from hunger. My mind has started to close in on its self and I’m low key starting to freak out. But I’m holding strong.. or the best I can.

The Fickle Heart

The Fickle Heart

There were bound to be some who were waiting for a show. Thus, throughout the whole day, I kept a smile on my face. I was afraid someone might sense even the slightest bit of displeasure from me. "Are you tired? Thank goodness we didn't have a wedding ceremony," Henry said as he patted his chest in relief. After shrugging out of his suit jacket, he got in bed with me and flipped over. His face pressed up against mine. Hit with the scent of his cologne, I felt my blood rushing through my veins. Had there been a mirror in front of me, I would've been able to see just how red my face was.

The Dissipation of Love

The Dissipation of Love

Having worked out a collaboration with the investors, I left the restaurant alone and waited by the curb for the company car. It was late autumn, and the trees were mostly barren save for a few amber-colored leaves. The sun was setting, and the sky was painted orange and indigo as it heralded the twilight hour. "Tess." A light breeze scattered the leaves along the street, and I turned to see Jonathan standing behind me. He looked more haggard than I remembered, and his normally straight back looked slightly hunched, as if he had been carrying a heavy weight. His eyes were bloodshot with dark circles under them, and he hadn't bothered shaving, either. His clothes were rumpled, too.

he said and she later went in. Ichabod was disturbed, that was really close but now he had more things to think about. The sun was fast approaching and he had no ring on. That would mean not being able to step out of the car, else he might just not be able to get in again. He couldn’t walk in the sun without getting burnt. It would be too risky especially if Harmony saw his skin burning like paper in the sun. She would die of heart attack. Apart from this, her birthday was coming, how did he not remember that November 15 was Dennis’s birthday as well, and also the emergence of the Full moon.
