Alpha Dalton

‘That’s what I thought,’ he remarked with a faint smirk tugging at his lips. Him and his Alpha’s superiority! “There’s indeed someone else’s scent -” “Whose scent is it?” Dalton cut him off. “I can’t figure it out. It’s too vague.” The pack scout stood up and dusted his pants. Dalton knelt down on one knee and got close to the bottle of antiseptic. Closing his eyes, he took in a deep breath of the scent. His nose twitched as though overwhelmed by the different scents mixed together.

Cordelia Blackwell I stared at the tombstone of Jeanette McConnel, and I read the epitaph engraved on the stone. “A loving mother and a precious servant of nature.” My eyes narrowed when I saw the date of her death, “1960.” “You found her?” His voice startled me.

Yearning for Her Return

Yearning for Her Return

So, the quote stayed in her mind. The gorgeous scenery ahead made her think of the lucky quote just then. She told herself she wouldn't have enjoyed this view if David hadn't kidnapped and brought her here. The mist covered a vast plot of this land with mountains and a lake. It was worth the demanding journey here. Blinking in shock, she continued to stare at the view. Then, she recited a famous Emily Dickinson poem. Her soothing voice harmonized with the chirping birds. "The mountain sat upon the plain. In his eternal chair, his observation manifold, His inquest everywhere. The seasons prayed around his knees, like children round a sire: Grandfather of the da

Ellen Addawe
I like the depth of this book, the character of the FL wherein she learns a lot in her life experiences, her moving on from the past and enjoying her life in the present. Not the typical love story wherein after all the heartaches, betrayal & rejection, still the FL gives the ML a second chance.

I stopped reading this book the moment Rebecca got married to someone else and Daniel is dying of late stage cancer, after all he suffered in the hands of his evil brother and family, I expected a happy ending for him and Rebecca but the writer chose other wise. He doesn't deserve this tragic ending

My voice is barely above a whisper, but it’s enough. A choked sound breaks the silence, raw and filled with so much emotion it makes my chest tighten. I blink slowly, my vision still blurred, but I don’t need to see clearly to recognize the warmth surrounding me, the familiar scent of pine and earth that grounds me even as my body trembles. Nick.

How could there still be an apple in this ghost town? She didn't know how it happened, or where he got this apples but it only intensified her guess that Dior might be regaining a little bit of human consciousness. She gazed at her husband then opened another box. This time it was bottles of water, with no packing or name on it. It obviously looked refilled because the bottle cups no longer had the original lock in it. Farrah was even more surprised.

Midnight Whispers

Midnight Whispers

Every once in a while one would take away untouched plates. Something brushed my thigh causing me to tense. I then realized the hand was cold and sent Damion a glare. He ignored me keeping up his lazy smile facade he had going for him. Every so often he would sip from a glass of red wine seeming to savor the taste. Not wine, I realized with disgust it was blood. I suddenly felt nauseous and Damion's hand continued to caress my thigh lightly. Pervert. I squirmed, standing up abruptly staring at Eric, “May I be excused?”

—You don't have to cry. -Sorry, I did not realize. You are a great man Santiago, and a great father, what you did for your daughter speaks very well of you and let me tell you that your wife is a damn witch who does not deserve to live on the same planet as Emily — Santiago smiled when he heard her, his hands They were still on her cheeks.

Then, without realizing it, Graciano managed to separate us from him. Graciano walked more slowly. The wind pushed his hair back. The posture suggested he liked to receive attention from the general public. The women cast lustful glances from behind the café windows. "Your ex is tough, Ms. Green," he chirped. "He's not my ex, Mr. Davis." "His eyes speak everything. How you deny." I clucked, then turned away. It was lazy to respond to such a pretentious man. The ice cream shop here brought me to the memory of the watermelon ice cream shop.

Crystal opted, trying to avoid talking to the Duke. "It's okay, dear. I can do it." Hilda replied loudly as she entered the kitchen. Duke Williams picked up his cup again and looked at Crystal. He had a serious look, which intimidated Crystal. She watched as he drank the tea slowly. < > Rebecca slowly lay Catherine down in her cot. She had fallen asleep while she was being fed. She gently pecked her forehead and smiled at her daughter. She walked away from the cot to the door. She got hold of the handle and stalled.
