I smiled to myself, a quick, flashing grin, easily convinced. Being a hunter may not be in my blood, but it was who I was. I’d been brought up by two hunters, two hunters that had travelled the word in the pursuit of various supernatural creatures, ranging from wendigos to ghosts to shifters. I was fine. I would be fine. “That was some good work today, Cals,” my Paps chirped as we reached the cars. “A very quick response. That might have been what saved her.” “Thanks, Paps,” I smiled, a little wearily. The thought of a ten hour shift at the diner was less than appealing, but at least it was relatively stress free. I doubted any more lifeless bodies would turn up there, at the very least.

My mum and brother threw hell of a fit not wanting to relocate but for me, I was full of happiness to the brim . I'm a hunter or so I was told, it all began when I was 16, I went hiking with my family somehow I got lost in the woods I wandered around aimlessly until I met an injured lady, she had been poked, she was hurting a lot, she pleaded with me to help her pull it out, I was scared, worried but most of all I wanted to help her out I took hold of the edge and drove the stick in her, I killed her, I waited for an emotion , I wanted to be scared, to run, to call for help, to cry but nothing all I felt was content , I moved away from her body wandering further till I was found,

The three of them looked at me, however, their expressions are different from each other. Polo is nodding, Rendall is looking dumb, and Finn is smiling. “Once we started training you to be a hunter, there’s no going back.” I nodded at what Finn said and since then, I became a hunter and a part of the Ambrose family. After taking a bath, I immediately went to the beer stalls to look for my father. “Father it’s almost dinner,” I reminded him which he immediately understood by standing up and bidding goodbye to his beer acquaintances.

She moaned and turned, her head hurt and she was parched. Peeking under eyelids seemingly plastered shut she saw Dakari tending a small fire. Memories of their escape came flooding back, feelings of radiant joy at the thought of getting away, then quick and utter despair at seeing Essam on their trail again. What was fuzzy was how it all turned out. How did she come to be camping in the forest with Dakari? Did they not get away?

"You know what Daisy, I will leave the offer open to you…think of the whole lot of things you can do with twenty billion dollars." Wade Roberto's voice was laced with concern. "I mean…your Dad can be the founder and CEO of the great Hunter's Empire, but imagine the feeling of knowing that you turned a billionaire without Daddy's help." With that said, Wade Roberto dismissed Daisy Hunter. As she left, Wade Roberto crossed his legs on the mahogany and smirked. "Daisy Hunter will come around, I'm certain of it." Hunter suggested as the man nodded his head. They further talked about the trainees back at the barracks and how to make them more skillful. Lennox agreed to send some top-notch vampire fighters to the training camp at the moon pack for a small tournament and Hunter agreed. It was already late at night so the king asked Hunter to stay the night in their mansion. He agreed. Lennox brought drinks to his room. "I don't want to get wasted," Hunter said and Lennox smirked, pouring a glass for him. "Come on, loosen up a bit," Lennox said while drinking, and Hunter couldn't resist as he took a sip as well, relaxing back on the couch.

The vampire that killed Ethan blurted out but his calm expression was broken into one of fear. “You are the vampire that hunts vampires!” This realization forced him to immediately try and retreat but that was not possible because the only thing that left that position was his body, not his head. The difference in their ability was that vast as he had been decapitated before he even realized that he was without a head. “Vampire hunter? That’s vulgar. Please, call me Liam,” The man said to the head in his hand.

Unfortunately a dozen hunter trainees were dropped into the middle of our trap because the council sent children after an unconfirmed sighting with a pep talk and the wrong ammunition."

Just Damon's death and my capture. I watched him from a window, laughing as another wolf fell to a Hunter's bullet, and hatred burned so hot in my chest I thought I'd catch fire. But I couldn't fight him. Not yet. Not while the Hunters still had us surrounded. So I did the only thing I could. I looked for leverage. The Hunter camp was visible from the east tower, a sprawl of tents and equipment just beyond rifle range. They'd been there for days, rotating shifts, keeping us trapped. But camps like that needed supplies. Needed organization. Needed contracts.
