He blocked the doorway, forcing the nurse who was wheeling my bed to snap, "Move aside. The patient just had an abortion and needs to rest."
"Abortion? Who gave you permission to do that? That's my child and wife!" he yelled.
"The patient and her family member signed the consent forms," the nurse replied.
"What family member? I'm Renee's family, and I never agreed to that!"
Out of nowhere, Dad appeared. He seized Elias by the collar from behind, his tone menacing as he growled, "I'm the one who signed. You got a problem with that?"
Elias recoiled, his voice trembling. "James! Why would you agree to something like that? That was your grandchild!"
