"Wait, when did this woman starts eating this kind of food?" she asks herself. She knows that Dom is not used in eating these kinds of foods but this time, she amazed her for eating too much street foods while drinking its sauce and vinegar.

Making the patties would take a while, so I guess I’ll go with mincing the mushrooms first. I cooked the dishes and made them all homemade (Except the cheese because man, cheese.) that I didn’t realize I was being stared at. After an hour struck by and I was halfway done with shaping the patties into a huge, chunky size (I have to thank Clairmont for his help in working on those HUGE number of ground meat), I noticed Carter was staring at me. His eyes wore a sparkly, curious look as he eyed each of my movement.

I could hear a thump and I feel a smile start to appear on my face. Walking inside, I see my cousin Jackson standing over my special guest. Andrew Mack. A cook who works at the Romani's. I had my boys go and pick him up when night when he was walking to his car alone. He's been here for about three days and so far hasn't had anything to drink or eat. Just as I do with all things in life. I pull up and park outside of Patty’s Diner. Despite it being early on a Thursday, the place is hopping. As it should be. Patty’s and Stanley’s recipes are off the fucking chain! They’ve modified a few over the years and added to the menu when needed. I felt honored when they permanently added “Maddie’s Favorite Brownie” to the menu on my 17th birthday. It’s a warm Nutella brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, a cherry, and a drizzle of hot Nutella over top of it all. No matter what I come in here for, even at breakfast, I always get a serving since it’s my absolute favorite thing in this world to eat.

Occasionally we stop for gas and food, but eventually get to Patty's house, or I should say her mom's. It's a big cottage type estate out in the middle of nowhere. Lots of sprawling lawn and a couple of gardens. Perfect for a get away when you are hiding from not so savory types. Fondly remembering all the good times, I smile as Dean parks the car and we get out with our things. Strolling up to the front door, I ring the bell and am instantly greeted by the cutest dalmation I have ever seen. After a few minutes, Patty answers the door and we hug each other for what seems like an eternity before I introduce her to Dean and vice versa.

And i have to add that our first ride here, you spent it telling me what you did not like about my hometown.” I frowned. “She was just being nice, i am not freaked out by niceness. Or maybe people round here don’t see you as much of an outsider as you think.” Before I could respond, Miss Patty returned with our food, setting down plates piled high with slow-cooked meat, golden fries, and soft, buttery rolls. My stomach rumbled at the sight, but I pretended not to notice. “Enjoy, y’all,” she said with a wink before walking off.

They sat down at the table. "Help yourselves," Mitch said. "Oh, we will," Draco placed some on the plate and passed it to Hilda first before he served himself. He took a bite and closed his eyes. "This is... great." He wiped his mouth. "You mentioned my name." He looked at Mitch. "Yeah," Mitch nodded. "You are going to take care of the bill of Patty's family. They're coming in from Blackthorn pack with a flight." Patty came in with another jug of coffee and maple syrup. She bowed to Mitch in appreciation.

Joe confirmed. “But even with that intense power, he still takes the time to show love for his pack,” said Allen. “Dom’s the best.” Joe stretched his legs. “I like Dom, but I would really like to get home now.” “Me too. What’s keeping Patty?” Allen grumbled. “Call her cell.” “Speak of the devil,” said Joe, looking past Allen. Allen turned around and saw Patty walking briskly towards them. She looked really excited. “You guys won’t believe it!” said Patty, laughing as she got to the car.
