The question on where I had met them bothered me the most because I felt like it would unlock something within my mind. I undid my ponytail and shook out my hair, letting it lay in a mess around me. I had been getting a lot of déjà vu lately, and they were only triggered by small things that felt like reminders . . . but why? And why did I feel like I was now partly complete as soon as I saw them as if blank spots in my head had been filled once more? Something in my head shifted around.

Cassie - I open my eyes to find myself in a field of daffodils. The scene feels oddly familiar, as I look around me taking in my surroundings I see a beautiful woman walks towards me. I feel like I have seen her before, but with my recent memories missing I can't place her. "Cassie, my dear, I'm so glad I was able to bring you back here, obviously you are ready," she says to me. "Back here? I've been here before," that isn't a question, I might not remember but I am getting a sense of deja vu. "Ready for what?"

She said instead, obviously trying to change the subject. “ And?” She realised a frustrated breath.“ And it disappeared the moment I stood up. I had a piercing headache before that and then my vision went blurry.” I creased my brows, my brain analysing her explanation.“ Can you remember what happened before that?” "Yeah, I think I had a dream that felt so real. I can't really explain it, but it felt like déjà vu.” I nodded knowingly. She most likely regained a fragment of her memory that triggered her eyesight, but I'm not telling her this.“ You had a visual Remission, and in a few days, you should get your sight back.”

Why wouldn't she just look at me, everytime she was close, she always avoided my gaze. I had been thinking about her ever since she had supposedly come back from the dead, it was like the mate bond was even stronger than before. Everytime she was even a slightest bit close to me I could feel it, I would catch her scent from miles away and it did things I didn't like to me, making me lose focus. Every time she brushed past me, even the smallest of touches left fires that spread throughout my entire body, like an electric pulse that coursed through my veins.

The tall elegance of the woman as she walks into the room, the familiar hard and shallow eyes that pins to mine, the thinned coldness of her lips as she smiles and the paleness of her skin sends me a feeling of dejavu. The woman from the cafe. It is the creepy woman from the cafe. What in the world is she doing here?

she asked confused. “I thought so too, but when you said he knew our plans, I knew he came through. At least first I wasn’t sure, but I thought I felt something strange a little while ago, my suspicions were right because of you. His smell is on you. Did you have a vision?” “Yes,” Jade said touching her head. “I have a headache, I don’t know why.”

Joyce asks softly, taking my hand. "Since we met, I've felt this connection between us, like a cord connecting our souls. It's at its strongest when we're together, like right now I can feel a pull, longing to be next to her. It's almost like I can't breathe right if she's not next to me.

I frowned. Something was definitely wrong with me. Because I was perfectly fine before she came, but now that she was here, it was like I didn't know the person I was anymore. And every second with her made it worse. Those violet eyes haunted me everytime, her smile was stuck in my head and my hand still tingles from when she had held until me fearfully in the hospital. Why did she do that?

To remind myself that they were still in me and with me, that they still watched over me as they promised. But each time I closed my eyes I saw that woman–the woman at the arena. I couldn't get the scene out of my head. It was so vivid and clear yet at the same time felt like it had only happened in my dream. Like some kind of a fleeting moment, a deja Vu. The more I thought about her the more the things she'd said rang in my head.

she said, and I nodded. "When you are far away from me, it feels like you are missing something. And when I am near, no matter if you are kissing me or holding me. You want more," she said and then thought about something. "It feels like you, if you could, then you would absorb me into your skin," she said. "How did you know?" I asked her, and she smiled. "Because I feel the same. I lose myself when I am with you," She said. I watched as she got up and smiled at me.
