he hollered when he saw me, barely looking up from his notes. The doctor was an older guy about in his fifties. He was going through the inventory of medicines, prepping needles. I wondered what was in them, why he did this gig. I wondered how much he got paid for his services. I knew better to ask anything as I cleared my throat in the doorway. "Hey, I'm your helper tonight." He turned around and gave me a look I couldn't decipher. "Are you legal?" the doctor asked. I gave him a confused look.

he says and i smile brightly at him "Are you serious sir, so can the surgery commence now?" I ask him eagerly and he nods at me "Yes Aubrey, it can commence soon" he tells me and the smile on my face couldn't be wiped off at all "The donor would be here tonight so make yourself available " he tells me and i nod eagerly "Thank you very much doctor" i stood up to leave but waited "Doctor, please who is doctor white?" I ask him and a faint smile appeared on his lips "Doctor white is a colleague of mine but a senior doctor, why do you ask?" He asks me and i shrugged

i try to tell her. Immediately the doctor comes in with the nurse that was on here with me, "Is anything the matter?" Chloe asks wiping away her tears, Jeremy and Jordan also enter the room. "What's going on doc?" Chloe asks again. "Now that all of you are here, i can finally talk to you, i already told your husband and friends about what's happening with you, but i would like to again emphasize the urgency of all of this." the doctor says looking at me. "Chloe what's going on?" i ask looking around

a kind voice answered. “Hi, I need to prove a doctor’s credentials. I am in a hurry,” I said and shared the name of the doctor. “Please wait. Let me check,” the lady on the other side said and kept the phone silent. Those seconds were torturous. I was knocking my fingers on desk asking her to hurry up and finally she came back. “I’m sorry, but there’s no doctor in our database with that name.” I frowned. “Can you check other regions? Or maybe internationally?”

"Them or you? Because it seems they take orders from their fearless leader fine. I doubt Mad Dog was at the bakery on his own recognizance." The two men stare one other down and, as I'm worried the tension will boil over, a throat clears at the entrance to the waiting room. All three of us swivel our heads in the direction of the noise. A tall, gorgeous, blue-eyed, blond-haired Doctor stands in the area where the carpet meets the tile. He hesitates, but after passing both men a knock-it-off look, he takes a step into the room. "I'm Dr. Nick James, are all of you here for Jeremy Hayes?"

Needed to know he would be okay. He had to be okay. He had to. I couldn't live with any other answer. "Ms. Chase," someone called, their voice tired and annoyed. "What?" I snapped as I looked to my right. The doctor gave me a withering smile. "If I'm to help treat you, I need you present so I can ask you questions. I know you're worried about your friend. Let me help you, and then you'll be in better shape to help him." The doctor was on the other side of the proverbial hill if his shock of white hair was anything to go by. His weathered face spoke of laughter and fun. His dreamy blue eyes were sharp and clear as he waited for me to answer.

We ask in chorus, making the Doctor stare at us one after the other. He sighed, and remove his glasses, almost making my heart to jump out of my chest, but then a smile spread on his lips

It's almost accusation. Before I can ask, a doctor I don't recognize comes in. "Mr. Cooper. Glad to have you with us. Hopefully in better shape than you came in." His voice booms through the room, echoing off the sterile walls. I nod, unsure of what response he's looking for. "Any pain in the joints?" I shake my head.

I whispered out. As if in response, the baby gave a sharp kick. I couldn't help but smile, resting my hand where I had felt the movement. "You're right, little one. We are doing something. We're here, and that matters." Just as I was considering making another trip to the vending machine for a drink, a doctor in rumpled scrubs approached me. My heart leapt into my throat. "Are you Katherine Gold?" he asked, his face unreadable. I nodded, not trusting my voice.

John stood there in a sad mood after hearing the doctor's words. Seeing John's despair, the doctor said again, "I know it is very difficult to find the magical doctor now. No one knows where he lives, no one even knows if the doctor is a man or a female. But find the doctor anyway because he is the only one who can heal your boss's leg. I want to tell you something. I know from a secret source that the Magical Doctor likes to live a simple life. So don't just look for him in big hospitals. Look for him in small-town hospitals and village hospitals.
