The Luna Who Walked Away
“Alpha Doom requests your presence. Conference hall. Now.”
Mira raises a brow. “He didn’t say please.”
“He never does,” I say, already standing. “Let’s go.”

The hall is empty except for Doom, standing near a long table scattered with maps and files. Sunlight pours through the high windows, painting his black coat in streaks of white and gold. He looks up when I enter, nodding once.
“You handled yourself well last night,” he says, his voice low, even. “Most would’ve lost control.”
