"Please lie down and take off your pants, sir. I'll do an examination," The Doctor said flatly while wearing latex gloves, then turned her body over professionally. "Are you read—" Luna stopped. Her eyes circled instantly. "Huh!? He... He is really my patient today?!" She thought. Luna blinked her eyes repeatedly, as if to make sure her vision wasn't playing tricks on her. "Ekhheem..." The man in front of him cleared his throat slowly, clearly deliberately.

"Suicide. Single gunshot to the head. Hotel room at the Veritas. My people found him twenty minutes ago. He was already cold." “At least he was thorough. And saved me the trouble of testifying.” "He left a note." "What kind of note?" "A confession. Handwritten, notarized yesterday." He spoke in short bursts, each word precise and hard. "Insurance fraud, patient murders, conspiracy to commit murder." "And a partner. Dr. Richard Chen.” My hands went numb. "Who?" "Dr. Richard Chen. Chief of Internal Medicine at Boston Memorial. Your old colleague." Dr. Chen. My mentor. The man who'd recommended me for residency, who'd praised my work.

He shook his head. "No. This isn't an interview." Interesting. "Then what exactly is it?" His mouth curved slightly, but there was no warmth behind it. "I simply wanted to meet the doctor everyone has been talking about." I remained silent. "The formidable Doctor who managed to take the life of her own father," he continued. "It's interesting. Doctors are usually known for saving lives." For a moment, I simply looked at him, not because I was surprised. Because I was measuring him. People revealed themselves in small moments. In the words they chose. In the things they tried to make sound innocent.

Hearing what the male detective just said Jackson should have been furious or surprised. But instead, he laughed. Seeing Jackson’s unpredictable and different reaction they became confused a little but didn't let him see that. “That’s the funniest thing that I've heard in a while.” Jackson continued laughing. “What’s so funny?” Jean was annoyed with the male Doctor who was laughing at them. The doctor stopped his laughter and spoke. “It's funny how you think that no doctor can get the simple analysis right without doing an autopsy himself. I mean the signs are all visible and anyone in the medical field can analyze them like me if they are observant enough.” Jackson replied with a smile.

My sarcastic tone was being frowned upon by those around me. The nervous energy stacked itself so thick it felt like I was in a sauna. Everyone is eyeing each other with unease and tense frames. “A vampire bit you.” Doctor Kent struggles to speak the words. “Come again?” I ask. Not because I didn’t hear him, but because I wanted to be sure I heard the correct thing from a medical professional. “A vampire has bitten you.” As the words leave his mouth, he begins to turn pale. “I am sorry, I can no longer treat you.” He announces as his vision flicks to the window and back at me. “Doctor Harken can take over from here. Good day.” He hurries from the room without a glance back in our direction.

He stood up, shaking, palms sweating; he walked quietly to the said room. Inside, he met a dark skinny doctor in a baggy uniform. She wasn't smiling; her lips were compressed with so much effort on her side. It reminded him of his grandmother who said female doctors are very wicked and none of them should bring any home as a wife. "Good… day" he struggled to say, quenching the nervousness and growing lump in his throat. "Are you Mr Peter Solomon?" "Yes. It is me" he said pointing his shaking fingers at himself.

"A girls body was been found floating in a river with a wound in her neck. She is identified on her I.d we found in her pocket. She is Lesly Thrill currently working in a hospital. Police can't find any lead and Cctv's that time is not found. Let's hear a word from a doctor who checked on her," Waylan got shocked when the doctor who is talking from the news is Jet. "Good morning, as I check the dead body seems like she died from losing a lot of blood. I'm sorry to say this but seems like vampires are now appearing. Why? As you look on her neck seem like something sucks her blood and human is not capable of doing that." Waylan's bag suddenly fell upon hearing what Jet has said. "How can he s

“None of that, he really pays attention to me. Yesterday was just strange, he was too strange. What if he was possessed? But we were camping in a good area with good reviews.” “I’m glad you are still cracking jokes after seeing your body in this state. I have a feeling you’re dancing around the truth, he couldn’t have been possessed by an evil spirit. Come, lay on your stomach, let me treat you.” “What do you want me to think?” “Strange things are happening in our world, Mason. After the death toll we just experienced in Lauderhill, I don’t think one should stay ignorant anymore. I’m so afraid, I have been asking myself why I became a doctor.”

Veronica hesitantly looked up, her heart thundering in her chest as she realized the doctor was looking straight at her, a haughty smile appearing on her lips, "But we better not get caught in bed, Selena. I plan on keeping you going all night long... just like yesterday." Veronica gawked at her. Goddammit! She knew! A flush of embarrassment crossed her face as the doctor was deliberately teasing her. "Mmh, and I'm sure this... escapade will be worth it, my love." Veronica ran her fingers through her hair and let out a deep sigh. That walk of shame was a small price to pay to what she experienced last night. She glanced at the doctor one last time, knowing that deep down in her heart, it was

The doctor said as he left the room, and I said a silent prayer thanking him. Once the doctor was out of the room Stephen asks, “Are you hunger? Can I get you anything?” “Thank you but I don’t think food is a good idea right now. I think I will just try and sleep it off if that is okay.” I said to him, and he reached down and placed a kiss on my lips before he stood and said, “I will be up later to check on you.”
