Doctor Sleep Stephen King Novelas e Histórias

"She is sick. You better find out what's wrong with her in the next hour, or I'll start chopping off your body parts, beginning with your toes.” The doctor froze on the spot when he sensed the power coming from off the king. "Kanyon you're scaring the poor man," Jessica let out. "I apologize on his behalf, Dr. Clarke. He's just on edge because on top of his beast being unruly, we can't seem to figure out why I'm feeling this way."

“Why is he here?! I don’t know him! Get him out!” The door burst open and the doctor rushed in. “What’s going on here?” he asked sharply. I backed away. My chest ached. My fingers were shaking. “You can’t rile him up like this,” the doctor said sternly. “He’s still very disoriented.” “What the hell is happening?” I muttered. “Why doesn’t he recognise me?” The doctor gestured for me to step outside. I followed him numbly, leaving behind the sound of Salvatore’s panicked breathing.

I said. "Point of correction, she is loyal to the McCall family and incase you forgot, I am a member of that family." Stephen said proudly. Fair point. I just hoped all of this would work. "What did you say the doctor's name was?" He asked. "Doctor James." I pointed out. Stephen nodded his head slowly. "I am sure I can handle her." The rest of the drive was in silence, I averted my gaze to the window, sightseeing helped me eased the anxiety i was feeling deep down inside of me.

Sebastian asked now sensing how terrified I became after seeing that image, where I’m turned to only look at him even though all eyes were on me in that moment. “I-I didn’t know I knew him until a memory popped into my head after I saw their symptoms, I was with Alpha Stephen, and he dragged me into this dungeon room somewhere in this pack. That doctor was there and asked if Stephen had finally, brought me to him but Stephen said no and wanted some poison this man was making. I was thrown on the floor by Stephen where a young girl lay looking at me, all of her symptoms were the same as the ones here. She asked for my help, but I was dragged away by Stephen, it can’t be a coincidence that the

“You don’t have to be.” “Mrs Storm,” the main doctor walked closer while others continued the examination. “Doctor Stephen. What’s going on?” “We are equally surprised that he woke up this early. However, following our examination, his waking up is both a good and bad sign.” “Bad sign?” My chest tugged with a nasty feeling. “What does that mean?” I asked, my arms hugging me tight.

"Don't waste your breath, Dr. Wyckoff." The guy grinned as he spoke in a voice that was low, but it carried down the corridor clearly enough for everyone to hear. "From the moment you forced this forensic pathologist to apologize, I've been live-streaming the entire thing. I even came up with a title. Hospital Director Forces Forensic Pathologist to Perform Surgery on a Living Patient to Appease a Donor. Pretty catchy, huh?" Hendrick swayed on his feet, nearly collapsing.

The woman on stage stopped. She turned. Looked down at the man kneeling on the steps. She extended her right hand — clad in a white surgical glove — and her fingers tipped his chin upward, lifting his face. She studied him for three seconds. Then the corner of her mouth shifted, barely. "I'm afraid you have the wrong person, Mr. Sterling." "Miss Holloway died a year ago." "I'm Dr. S. And I'm not here for a partnership." She raised her left hand, signaling the technicians to switch the screen.

she said softly. I didn’t move. My chest tightened harder the longer I looked at her expression. Then my eyes slowly shifted toward the doctor standing nearby. The man refused to meet my gaze entirely. Sweat covered his forehead despite the cold air inside the room. I also found him very familiar but I couldn't place where I saw him. That was when I knew something was wrong. “What happened?” I asked again, this time more sharply. Stephanie sighed dramatically before waving her hand slightly toward the doctor. “You can leave us now.”

The doctor became very quiet. Almost too quiet. As though he was studying my face. A long silence passed. Then I heard him whisper. "I know her." His voice carried certainty. "I know exactly who she is." My heart skipped. The woman sounded curious. "Who is she?" The doctor exhaled slowly. "Vivian Hart." Silence. Then he continued. "Vivian Hart Blackstone." The woman gasped. "Blackstone?" "Yes." The doctor leaned back slightly. "She's the wife of David Blackstone."
