Chapter 33 – It's Not Him That Hurts Point of view: Sofía Rojas The door slammed shut. It wasn't just the end of a visit; it was the symbolic closure of something much deeper, as if that woman had left a poisonous echo that still lingered in the air. The sound of her heels receding down the hallway slowly faded, and then silence enveloped everything. A dense, sticky silence, as if the oxygen had been stolen from the air. And in the midst of that suffocating stillness, Sofía felt something break inside her.

A terrible silence crept in, thick and heavy, swallowing everything whole. My stomach twisted violently. Silence wasn’t good. Silence was worse than the alarms. The door finally opened. A doctor stepped out, his face drawn tight with exhaustion. His eyes met mine, and in that instant, the world tilted. I knew. “We tried…” he said quietly. The words hung in the air like a death sentence, sharp and merciless. My breath caught in my throat. The hallway around me blurred, the walls tilting as the ground beneath my feet seemed to vanish.

He fumbled in his pocket for a pill bottle—tranquilizers, the ones he kept for “emergencies.” His thumb hovered over the cap. Then a voice echoed from the intercom: “Landing in approximately five minutes.” He froze. In five minutes, Silas Hawke would either be a prisoner… Or a corpse. Or worse, publicly irrelevant. Fallon adjusted the buttons of her blouse as she descended the final step of the staircase, still slightly drowsy from the restless night before. Crouching down beside Bellamy, she placed a hand either side of his face and covered his mouth with her own. A visible white light passed through Zorhia’s mouth and into Bellamy’s and disappeared down his throat. His chest rose off of the floor as Zohria broke the kiss an backed away, that same light still flowing from her mouth and into Bellamy’s. Thea gasped as she looked at Zorhia, she saw her once hazel eyes were now a blinding silver. When she looked back at Bellamy, she breathed a sigh of relief as she saw his lips return to their usual peach colour and the grazes from the glass shards close up.

Of course a big fight was going to ensue with Sampson and Odessa winning and living happily ever after. The Beautiful Silence- Jocelyn was finally going to break though Lola's locked memories and find where Gunner was hiding. Since her memories would be unlocked Lola was able to return to her normal life with her second chance mate, Paul. They finally track down Gunner and destroy him. Trinity goes back with Antonio and Lorenzo to their pack and Jocelyn becomes Luna of Quinton's pack.
