A hunter like me really wants to find out information about werewolves to report to the organization. The room is quite soundproof; I put my ear to the door but only heard intermittent sounds that made me not understand what they were saying. I was highly uncomfortable, changing many positions to hear better as if it was useless. Then, the room suddenly fell silent. I had a bad feeling and ran back some distance from the room. At this moment, the room’s door suddenly opened, and four men came out of the room. I only know two of them, Jack and Dante. Jack saw me, pointed at me, and yelled, “What are you doing here? What are you plotting?”

Akihiko was shocked on seeing the kid speak that way to the man in front of him and he says- “Kids aren’t supposed to talk to elders that way! Shame on you! And what kind of parent are you, letting your child talk like that?” They both start laughing on hearing him say that and the man says- “He isn’t my kid… He’s just a brat who works with me.” “Even though I look like this, in reality I am 25 years old. He is standing with his back turned against me, his eyes trained on the other person. I focus on him instead. He looks stunned, his eyes widened, and his lips parted. “That is impossible,” he mutters, shaking his head. “That veil hasn’t been breached in years. Who could have…” “Only one breed,” he drawls. “Hunters.” “Shit!” I didn’t think they were going to figure it out so fast. My breath hitches in my throat when he angles his head a fraction, when everything suddenly stops, as if he can sense me.

Why can’t I shoot? “Elena…” a deep baritone calls out from behind me and I whirl around to come face to face with Hunter. His jet black hair is slicked back, it is damp and he has clearly just taken a bath. Droplets of water stain his grey shit, creating little darkened spots. “Hunter!” I gasp. “I’m sorry, I know we’re not supposed to train at night but I’m not getting any better–“

I stumble back, my hands releases him before going down to press hard against my stomach, containing the blood. The silver spread through my veins like liquid fire, my chest burning with a searing pain. A snarl tears out if Dorian and a blur of brown fur launching across the table. The bald hunter swings his shotgun, his fingers pressing hard on the trigger. Dorian's wolf slams into him, knocking the gun from his hand before pining him down with his paws. He growls at the hunters, the sound piercing the air. They take a shaky steps back but scar face remains calm, a smirk playing at his lips.

"Looks like negotiation time is over." Everything happened at once. Kade's forces opened fire on the hunters. The hunters, unnaturally fast, closed the distance with terrifying speed. Hail shoved me behind him and loosed a bolt from his crossbow, catching the nearest hunter in the shoulder, a shot that should have been lethal but merely made the creature stumble. Lena fired precise shots from her position, each bullet finding its mark but doing minimal damage. The hunters didn't bleed like normal humans; instead, a thick, black substance oozed from their wounds.

“I was wondering if the girls needed anything? I also wanted to know if I could clean up the living room? It’s kind of a mess.” Elena nodded. “Yeah. We’re done.” “Okay. The hunter asked as his face changed slightly. "What do you mean have I seen them? I haven't seen anybody." Dove replied as I knew something was wrong. "Let's change our paths, come with me.' I said turning to Hunter as we turned to took the bush path. "Where do you think you're going?" He asked not letting us through. "Don't you dare block me again?" I warned as he wouldn't budge but stood. I couldn't hold my anger again as I pushed him and we immediately went into a fierce battle.
