“No,” Jace said immediately, his voice firm though quiet. “I don’t share blood.”
“Alpha, please.” The doctor’s tone grew urgent. “I know what I am doing. Without this, your body will struggle to heal. You are strong, yes, but not immortal. You need this.”
For a long moment, Jace said nothing. His eyes burned into the man, searching for any means to say no, but then, reluctantly, he exhaled. “Fine.”
