Norman screamed from right behind my shoulder, making me jump.
Have I seen them before? In fact I barely reached this place yet a normal college student’s fridge was supposed to have leftover pizza, juice, water, and maybe some fruit. But this fridge looked like the back room of a nightclub—stocked with expensive wines and top-shelf whiskey, as if I were living with a professional bartender.
Norman stretched his hand inside, gripping a bottle of expensive white wine.
“Hey, you shouldn’t be doing that,” Tina warned softly.
“Why? Can’t we at least have a good time together? Don’t you agree, Jace?” Norman turned to me, pleading with his eyes.
