Ryan growled, snapping his jaws wildly, but his strikes barely scratched Pete’s thick hide. The crowd laughed louder now, enjoying the spectacle. Ryan struggled, his body heaving, but Pete held him down effortlessly. Finally, with one heavy swipe of his claws, Pete sent Ryan tumbling across the dirt.
