She shook her head, turned her attention to the dogs, and narrowed her eyes at them.
“Is that your dog?” She demanded, pointing at Zeus.
“Tragically, yes. I’m sorry for any trouble he caused. Zeus may be small, but he is a massive pain in my ass.” I sighed, holding up my leash with his harness. “Little shit slipped out of his harness. I should name him Houdini.”
“He scared the hell out of my poor baby. She has anxiety issues, and he managed to trigger her.” She huffed, storming to me, taking her leash back before going back to her dog to clip it to her collar again.
