They start to feel discouraged as they search, but then they hear a bark. The bark came from an alleyway nearby, and as the group members approach, they see a small, brown-and-white dog running towards them. The dog is wagging his tail and jumping up at them, and they realize it's Max! The man whoops with joy, and he drops to his knees to greet his beloved dog.
