Beneath the Sweet Facade, a Dog Scammer
Just then, my phone buzzed with a message from Dogman.
“Hey, Kate. How’s the dog doing? Honestly, I wouldn’t bother feeding it anymore. You’ve been spoiling it with salmon and caviar, and it’s still acting up. If you’re feeling generous, how about feeding me instead?”
I laughed, typing back a quick reply.
“The dog’s gone. Thanks for your help.”
With a tap, I sent him a $10,000 tip.
“It's just a dog. If I want to spend money on it, it's my little darling. If I don't, it’s just a dog,” I silently remarked.
