Cycle of Cliches

Cycle of Cliches

Feeling ‘At Home’ I discovered this story in Deuta’s black leather-bound diary. Well, we discovered it: Nisim and I. To be frank, my friend, Biswa, may claim to be a co-discoverer as well, because of his timely presence during the discovery. This story is my personal contribution to the folklore I take pride in – the folklore of Kamarsuburi.

Rejected Luna

Probably an even mix. He’d been up half the night with thoughts of goblins and gumiho. Halmeoni used to tell Jihoon stories about dokkaebi tricking humans and nine-tailed foxes eating the livers of men. Horror stories camouflaged as fables to teach lessons. But those types of stories were supposed to stay in books, not come to life and almost choke him to death.

Leading My Family to Glory

Tyr asked. The girl did not answer. Xanthus Meryem hurriedly explained from the side, “I used to hear a story from the elders. In the early sixteenth century, a very powerful Kodoku practitioner emerged. He refined a sort of Kodoku and poisoned one hundred thousand ancient soldiers overnight.” “Does such a terrifying Kodoku actually exist in real life?” Tyr asked in surprise. Xanthus shook his head and added, “I am not sure whether it’s real, but since this legend has been passed down over the years, there must be a reason behind it. The legend is definitely not a groundless story.”

Magnus: Dragon Lord

Kealy asked, seeing Dilo’s face drop when she saw Kiri, moving quickly to kneel on her haunches close to Rex. “I thought she was half Orc,” Rex said, his expression changing. “No. Dabu are created when a ritualist can successfully mix Orc and Daemon blood to create offspring. From what I’ve learned, it is quite a volatile process with low success rates,” Kiri said, looking intently at Dilo, who was currently doing her best to maintain a low profile. “Wow, she meets you and goes passive, that’s strange,” Teema said, seeing Dilo’s actions and voicing what Kealy and Venya were both thinking as well.

“Focus on finishing this floor. I’ll wait at the boss’ room.” Leaving Zen behind, Liu Feng left like the wind. The cook looked at the blinking party quest notifications and realised how quickly the girls worked through the main storyline. “Dude! Have you finished gossiping?” Damian called Zen over the party voice call. “I met some interesting folks that want to talk to you more than me. Come over now!” Taking that as his cue to move, Zen started trekking through the jungle to find the cobra people that Damian talked about. According to mythology, they were the Naga tribe, half human and half cobra. Their lower halves were cobras, and they had venomous bites.
