Eric sat up first and massaged his temple. “What happened?” he asked, face twitching. He felt a little bit dizzy. “You were under a witch priestess’ spell. Zadi and I had to fight her alone,” Elise told them. Kent sat up as well and the others followed suit. They all appeared to have headaches after the spell. Zadi cleared their heads, and they felt fine after a moment. “What? And where is she now?” Eric inquired curiously. “Right in there, in the tomb with her priest lover, I discovered,” Elise responded quietly. Her eyes locked with Kent’s. The latter just stood up and went to embrace her.

Her brows furrowed. “What is this?” “A doctor’s contact.” Diane looked back up slowly. “A fake doctor,” Elise corrected casually. “Well… not entirely fake. He has a license. He simply values money more than ethics.” Diane stared at the number again. “You’re insane.” Elise took a sip of her drink. “You’ve said that already.” “What exactly is this supposed to do?” Elise leaned back against the booth comfortably. “Simple. You stop pretending to be newly pregnant.”

She sealed it and sent it. She treated patients through the morning. Elise's response to her earlier query arrived at noon. "I just… I need to see a doctor. General check-up." The nurse’s brow arched slightly, but she nodded and scribbled something on a form before directing her down the corridor. "Room 328, Dr Elise." "Thank you," Isabella said softly. Her palms were damp by the time she reached the door. She brushed a few loose strands of hair behind her ears and knocked. The doctor looked up from her desk, a woman in her forties with sharp eyes and a calm, reassuring smile. "Please, have a seat. Miss Moretti?" she said with a soft voice.

After a few more moments, Carl and Selena wondered as their gaze explained it all. "And also, can Selena be excused for a moment?" Carl asked and Selena went out to bring more ice cubes. “Doctor, with all due respect, I doubt that Elise would want me around her now, we had a fight before all these happened.” he explained, and to his surprise, the doctor cackled, patting him on his shoulder. Carl wheeled his head sideways, to his left, as he placed his gaze at his shoulder.

It's alright, brother," Elisse said while smiling at him. In the end, he had no choice but to leave for work while Elisse and I proceeded to their school clinic. "Elisse! What happened?" the doctor worriedly asked Elisse when we reached the clinic. "I think she got that from all the games that we did today," I answered. That's when she looked at me and smiled. "You must be her sister?" "I'm her mother. I mean, I and my husband adopted her." "O-Oh, I see. It's nice meeting you, Miss Wesley. By the way, I'm the official doctor of their school and my name is Belle Denmark." she said then reached out her hand to me.
