Regretting Divorce: Return of my heiress Ex-Wife

Regretting Divorce: Return of my heiress Ex-Wife

Avery and Gio were in their bedroom. I made myself a cup of coffee, locking myself inside the library and searching for a book that would satisfy my craving. I came across a novel titled 'The Black Dahlia' by James Ellroy. The title was quite interesting, so I grabbed the book and sat on one of the armchairs, making myself comfortable and beginning to read. The story was intense. I was sucked into it. i was so invested in the crime fiction book that I almost missed the sound of a knock coming from the door. I used my pen to keep track of the page number, before looking up to see who the hell interrupted my moment with the book.

It’s not his fault tho if he was being lied to, but he could have done a little more research to know the whole truth. I hope Elle doesn’t take him when he comes running back, I can’t deal with his foolishness

Prince Charming's one-night stand

Prince Charming's one-night stand

, the walls were painted a deep shade of brown, that were so warm against the reflection of the dim lighting. "Wow, lovely room...she does know how to make simplicity beautiful." He soliloqized. At least he could spend some time knowing her on his own. His attention was also drawn to a tall, white vase sitting prettily on another table near the door. Inside the vase, there were three red roses blooming. And as he observed them, he realized that there was a pint of blood on the petals, and a part of the vase. "How did this get here?" He wondered, concluding that she must have spilled some blood from her bruise. He ignored the blood and went over to the small bookshelf standing behind the vase

Framed for Murder by My Husband

Framed for Murder by My Husband

"Who are the family members of the patient? We received a report from the hospital and need to look into the situation." Sophie immediately lunged at them. "Officers! It's her! My daughter-in-law! She went over to give my mother-in-law medicine yesterday! She murdered her!" The officers turned their gazes to me. "Miss, did you deliver medicine to the deceased yesterday?" "I did, but—" "Where is the pill bottle now?" Leon finally spoke up, his voice chillingly calm. "Officers, the bottle should still be on the coffee table at my grandma's place. It's bound to have my wife's fingerprints on it, since she's the one who was taking care of it."

Cunning

Cunning

How many books did she need? I ran my hand over the cardboard trying to devise another reason for the break-in. In the bedroom, which I assumed to be Chelsea's since it still looked lived in, there was a laptop on a desk and jewelry on the dresser. In the living room was a flat-screen television with a sound system and video components. If robbery was the motive, the perpetrator failed miserably. "Tell Deloris to have this all sent to my apartment," I told Isaac, motioning to the boxes.

I have brainwashed her so much that even if Abhinav kills her she will not return to my house. As I have to check Agnihotri mansion I told devika that I have come here for the first time. She should give me a tour of this house. After all, as a mother, I should know where my daughter is living. Like a fool, she obliged me and started showing me the rooms and the whole mansions. She informed me that she also didn't have a tour of this whole mansion yet. I have to admit that this mansion is very large and beautiful but I can sense some secrets are also lying in this mansion. I have to find out.

Dear author, this is the best book I read so far , u know why? Coz I could connect with each and every character. it's not that any incident is astronomical and beyond our understanding. it's like this story is weaved from the experiences of ours surrounding. thanks for writing and sharing in this.

I completed this story on other platform earlier and must say it’s worth the coins. A woman was beaten, crushed and punished for no fault of hers. But she stood up, fought and when time came she forgave her culprit. Nice evolution of the character. I m not in favour of violence though.

Murder on the Northwind Trail

Murder on the Northwind Trail

The kind of smile you give when a chess game finally ends, and your opponent has walked straight into the trap you've set from the very first move. "Detective Bell." My voice was calm, almost gentle. "That recording… Doesn't it prove the killer poisoned those four, and then drank his own poison? Doesn't that sound like a guilty man taking himself out? "I don't understand why you all keep looking at me. From start to finish, I never did a thing. Just because Sharon suffered, just because I hated them for it, that makes me guilty? "I told you before. Yes, I hated them. But I'm just one woman. What could I really do?"

A Murderer's Luck

A Murderer's Luck

The gigantic buildings and houses in their town seemed so little from where she stood. Even Saint Clair Academy looked like a dollhouse. When Alice’s eyes landed on the mansion, it became apparent to her that the Saint Clairs loved glamour and style. From their flowery garden filled with small, star-shaped LED lights, to their living room that had an electric fireplace below their gigantic television. What awed Alice, even more, was that besides the television, two towering shelves full of books stood. “Meredith, George! Welcome! And you brought Alice! What a surprise!” Elisa Saint Clair greeted them by the doorway; her glistening jewelry all over her body made Alice’s eyes hurt.

My Husband and His Doll

My Husband and His Doll

"You have two choices, Calvin. First, you can get the hell out of this house and take the doll with you. I bought this house before we got married, and my name's on the car title. I want you to leave with nothing. "Second, you leave the doll here. You can continue living under my roof, but on the condition that you sleep in the study from now on." Eyes widening, Calvin hissed, "Why should I?" "Because I have records of your trysts with Dorothy and bank transactions showing you used company funds to purchase gifts for her." I took out a letter from under the coffee table and tossed it before him. "It's your call." He picked up the letter and opened it. As he flipped through the papers, his pa
