Don smiled, reaching to take two champagne flutes as a waiter walked past. “Would you like one, Reese?” He smiled, offering me one as he took a sip of the other. Oh, he is doing well at playing this game with my mother. “Yes, please.” I smiled while taking the glass. “Well, it has been lovely getting to see you and introduce you to Donald. We should probably make the rounds. I should speak with plenty of people, and I want to introduce Donald to my grandfather and grandmother. I’m sure they are in the parlor.” I quickly made an excuse to get out of any further conversation.

"His name is Gerald Hudson." Chelsea raised a brow. "Okay… and who exactly is Gerald Hudson?" Reese hesitated for a moment before exhaling. "He’s someone from my past. Someone I thought was dead." Chelsea’s eyes widened. "Wait, what? Dead? Reese, what the hell are you talking about?"

“No. And I don’t think I want to know. Your son rough-handled me at your command, pinned me to a wall like a criminal, and I demand an apology from both of you. And instead of doing that, you walked in here and accused me of something I know nothing about.” Mouths dropped open around the room. Shock radiated from every face. Reese leaned in close, his whisper loud against my ear. “Tone down that attitude. You’re going to earn yourself a free bullet. He’s not just anyone. He commanded armies before most of us were even born.” Commanded armies? What the fuck is this guy on? I snapped my head toward Reese and shot him a glare. “Come close to me again and you’ll earn yourself a free punch.”

Dominic painted many portraits of Yuri and Darryl kept one of the portraits. “This is my friend and we were separated. I need your help to look for her,” Darryl asked. A long time had passed and he still had no news on Yuri. He had to find her no matter what. Reese took the portrait and looked at it as she trembled instantly. She was amazed by the woman’s beauty. “Don’t worry, Mister Darren. I’ll get my people to find her.” Reese smiled lightly. “Is she your wife?” After she witnessed his real power, Reese became more interested in him.

Their time was extremely precious. Emmitt naturally stayed here, but Donald planned to return home first. The private aircraft of the Trevino family needed to send their guests back, and he could take this plane back. The two of them agreed to meet in the country in half a month, and they would head to their school to finish their final doctorate thesis together. The good news that Reese was pregnant made her a national treasure. She no longer needed to attend the dinner banquet, and now, she was properly resting in her marriage villa, with a light diet, accompanied by her grandmother.

She was trying to rattle Donovan, to throw him off balance.

“Don't care. They can look.” I kept quiet. Not exactly knowing how to react to that response. Because to be honest, I don't know why he cared so little. But I wish he cared a little more. My gaze across the view around us, hoping and praying that there wasn't a creep watching. Reese seemed to notice. He let out a dry chuckle. “Relax, darling. It's just body parts. No big deal. Besides, no one can see from down there.” He said, taking another drag of his cigarette.

He is stable in breathing now, and that should sooth him, but seeing this article does little to appease the good doctor. Reese is the second to see it, his eyes still fuzzy as he meanders through the newspaper brough to his room in the morning, trying to make sense of the time lost in his coma. He still struggles to sit up straight, sore to the bones, and his mind runs laps as he shifts through the scandalous article over the Queen Luna.

He seemed like a nice guy under all that dangerous. “That’s what I’m trying to do.” She said quietly, hugging the door. He gave a little nod of his head and passive smile before walking off. He looked back to see her watching him leave. He waved back curtly and she smiled before closing the door. Reese sighed bitterly. Ferrante’s fucking sister…hidden from enemy eyes by a different name but held in check and controlled heavily by Antonio, the new Don. “Damn it to hell.” Reese muttered as he got in his car and drove off. “Just as I was really beginning to like the chick…” He paused in his thinking.

On top of that, she minimized replying to Sean's texts or calls, only answering essential questions relevant to their daughter. In response to the flowers he sent, Reese sent him a text, saying: [Thank you for the flowers. You didn't have to.] For the rest of her day at work, Reese helped gather the children on the isolation floor, where a special guest gave them an inspirational talk.
