Claimed By The Alpha Biker
Sunlight came in through the half-drawn blinds and outside, I could see part of the courtyard, pack members moving about, some carrying tools, others practicing maneuvers on their bikes.
And then I saw her.
Not Sheila.
Reese.
She was walking across the open grounds, dressed in her usual simple jeans and top, hair pulled back, and an expression that looked... distant. Focused. She wasn’t heading toward the training ring. Her path led straight past it and toward the dunes, the edge of the desert.
My brow furrowed. “What the hell is she doing?”
Felix followed my line of sight. “Who?”
“Reese,” I muttered. “Heading straight for the sands.”
