Hi Bukolami, d story is getting exciting. Pls dont abandon it or rush to end like some of yr previous works. Truly hope it is worth getting emotionally invested in n tat it leads to a proper, sweet n satisfying happy ending NOT an abrupt one. U r a creative writer n am eager to c how everytg unfold.

This is one of my favorite stories on GN. It’s been such a nerve-wrecking and engaging read. I will wholeheartedly miss Dalvin :”) Thank you, Author. An epilogue would be lovely if you ever consider it.

The Beta's Scarred Mate: A Loner to Luna Prequel

The Beta's Scarred Mate: A Loner to Luna Prequel

I know you will be a good Alpha because my oracle told me that you would be a great Alpha. I try to donate ten thousand dollars, every year, to the human library too. The donation helps them to develop special programs for children and that is where my heart is. If we can help foster a child’s love for reading, I see no reason why we couldn’t do it. Reading is the foundation for getting good grades in school. I believe that just about covers everything on the investments side. I am so proud of you for taking the chance to come back and take over. I am very proud of you.

The Debt Collector's Price

The Debt Collector's Price

One more opportunity to jack up the price in a market this desperate. I donated most of the furniture to Goodwill. The lumpy futon, the particle-board bookshelves that wobbled if you looked at them wrong, the mismatched kitchen supplies I’ll never need again. None of it was worth the haulage f*e. But the books stayed. I kept every single paperback, their spines cracked and pages yellowed, guarding them like gold bars. My literature degree might be unfinished, but these are mine. My laptop. The clothes I haven’t surrendered to Claudette yet. Photos of Dad. Mom's old watch ticking against my wrist.

Awkward Marriage

Awkward Marriage

OuT of curiosity, Jake decided to attend the Christmas play at the auditorium later that day. He was surprised by how many people went to the event. Mrs. Walker was at the table collecting donations. “You don’t have to give if you don’t want to,” she told each person who walked through the door. “Where do your donations go?” one man asked. “To fixing the library, costumes and other supplies for future plays and additional books,” she warmly replied. “My goal is to provide a fun place for adults and children to enjoy the thrill of reading.”

I Stole The Don's Heart

I Stole The Don's Heart

I get out of the king-size bed and start to explore. The room is spacious and tastefully decorated with elegant furniture and artwork on the walls. As I walk towards the bookshelf, I notice a plaque on the wall next to it that reads "DC Company CEO, Henry Lincoln." My heart skips a beat as I realize that Henry is not only a successful businessman but also my scholarship sponsor. I won his contest. Holy shit. My attention is drawn to the novel bookshelf as I am curious about what he likes to read. I run my fingers over the spines of the books, scanning the titles for something that catches my eye.

STEP ASIDE EX-HUSBAND: THE RISE OF LIANA

STEP ASIDE EX-HUSBAND: THE RISE OF LIANA

Two weeks later, she found herself standing outside the glass doors of a modest nonprofit office, The Eden Initiative, one of the organizations that had just received a donation from Hale’s liquidation fund. The director greeted her with quiet awe. “He gave anonymously,” she said. “But when we saw the amount, we knew it had to be him.” Liana smiled faintly. “He’s not very good at anonymity.” Inside, children and volunteers filled the space with color and noise. The walls were lined with photos—renewable tech projects, scholarships, clinics. The donation had already begun reshaping their reach. Liana walked through the rooms slowly, her chest tight with conflicting emotions and admiration, so

He didn’t want the bond. That shit ended today. He turned back to walk to the middle of the atrium, to the librarian’s desk and pulled a piece of paper from his pocket. Miss Donovan was a vampire who had been the librarian here probably since the old building had been built. She knew everything about everything and would know that one of the books on his list had nothing to do with any of his subjects. “I need these books and others on those subjects,” he told her. Miss Donovan didn’t cower. She was probably one of the few people who didn’t reek of fear when he spoke to them. She took the paper from him without a word and started typing something on her computer.

My marriage was for money, his for vengeance

My marriage was for money, his for vengeance

"They're opening classes today. I want to send more readers." He picked up the phone on the nightstand and muttered, "Then let's find a way." --- 7:08 AM – Ferrer Foundation, Archive Hall The smell of used paper and donated books blended with the fresh smell of newly wrapped plastic. Volunteers organized stacks by age. Elira placed a Grade 3 reader into the hands of a teacher-turned-coordinator, who smiled with exhaustion that issued from days of movement, not defeat. Caelan came in from the back storage, a heavy binder clutched in her hand. "New inventory lists arrived. Someone donated a complete set of Banahaw mythology prints."

Contract With Big Brother-in-law

Contract With Big Brother-in-law

“The bookstore?” “Yeah,” I said quickly, feeling the need to justify myself for some reason. “There’s this place downtown, Cooper’s Books, that I’ve been meaning to check out. They have a great selection of used books, and I heard they just got a new shipment in, and—” I stopped myself, realizing I was rambling. “But it’s okay if you don’t want to. It’s probably boring for you.” Nicholas grinned. “Are you kidding? I love that place.”

"Wow, what a charmed life she’s living—pain, suffering, heartbreak—she’s got the full package! It’s almost like the author’s personal mission was to make sure the heroine never experiences a single moment of joy. Truly inspiring.,.. very disappointing this one is really exhausting to read

Let me first say that this author has kept me coming back to read the rest of the story. However, poor Kayla… can’t she catch a break? This is one of the better books I’ve read on here, but I’m starting to get frustrated by the 2 steps forward with Nicholas and Kayla for them to take 10 steps back.
