Don't Breathe Too Close

Don't Breathe Too Close

the other chokes. Cowards. Alaric doesn’t speak. He only stares, sharp and silent. That’s enough. They scramble, stumbling over each other, fleeing like mice from fire. The door slams shut. The tension snaps, and Alaric lets me go. I stumble back, cold all over, skin still tingling with the echo of his scent. I can’t look at him. I just need distance. “They’re gone,” he says flatly. I nod. My throat burns too much to answer.

Don't Reject Me

Don't Reject Me

“Why didn't you say so earlier? Goddess, I'm sorry... I somehow... I forgot that…” He laughed, rising to sit and pulling me into a tight embrace. “You don't need to apologize for anything or to anyone. You went through hells and returned. I would never force you to do anything you're not comfortable with.” I shook my head. “You don't understand. I want to meet them. I-I think I should meet them, right?” A soft smile appeared. “Just remember that if you find any of them irritating, you may as well kick them out of Caesusville.”

This is a MUST read book. This is the very first time I’ve found a true couple who remain true to themselves. Asena was never selfish or full of herself. Kaan was never cruel to his mate. They were honest to each other and thanks to that they were then able to trust each other. It was a fresh air…

This was an expertly executed story, Keeps you engaged, wanting more and giving you just enough at the right times, The characters were developed thoughtfully and grew as the story progressed. You could feel what they felt, every tear, laugh, fear, anger, passion, desire, and lose. A must read.

Please don't touch me

Please don't touch me

He didn't care a hoot. - Um, can you come see this person with me or not? Doris wrinkled her brow and became increasingly anxious as she became aware that something was wrong. It seemed as though he had further motives that were not immediately evident; who ought he to talk to? She is so worn out that she no longer cares, so all she wants to do is go home right now. Since Vidor and Edna have already departed, she will need to hail a cab and drive home by herself since they have already left. Due to the fact that this is the case, she does not wish to squander her time on these matters since she is too worn out to give a damn about them.

Letting go

Letting go

Tom calls out his name as we try to get in the lounge but the door isn't budging. We both push, punch, kick, and slam ourselves against the door but it won't budge. "It feels like there's something behind it stopping us from getting in." Tom's words mirror my thoughts and have me completely freaked out. Why the fuck can't we open the door? Why would something be behind the door?

Even though reading ongoing books scratches my nerves, I have to say this one is an amazing read thus far. I'm excited to see what happens later down the line and glad I can keep up with the storyline that has been hard to do with some of the translations from other reads.

I'll be glad when this book is updated. I want to see Molly and Christian have their happily ever after. I also want to see that hag amy get what's coming to her and lose complete custody of the children. They deserve to be with Christian's family.
