Does being in the sun make it hard to hear?

I wave him goodbye, he checks his noodle hair in the mirror and leaves. There is not much work. There is never much work. I sit in front of the laptop and check my F******k account. F******k is boring when you’re dating the prettiest girl there will ever be. I don’t want to, but I still end up doing what I’ve been avoiding since morning. I fetch the diary from my drawer and open it. RD.

I cussed, holding my forehead. "This can't be it! There has got to be more!" I couldn't wrap my head around why anyone would lock a series of books inside a heavy safe and bury it. Frustrated, I picked up a hardback notebook, snapped the straps, and opened it. A cursive handwriting came into view. There were dates on each page of the book. I read the first page. "October 19, 1999. Entry for Research 16." "Dear diary,

Stretching up on my toes, I grabbed the book and nearly fell backward in the process. “What the hell are you hiding, Darius?” I murmured, brushing the dust off the cover. When I opened it, my breath caught in my throat. It was a photo album. The first page held a picture of a young boy. His dark hair was messy, and he had this cocky little smirk that screamed troublemaker. I couldn’t help but smile. “So, you weren’t born an asshole,” I muttered, flipping to the next page. There were more pictures—him as a teenager, him with a group of other boys, probably his friends. And then there was one of him holding a trophy, his grin so wide it almost looked fake.

Episode 13 Chloe pov continues… I was sweating while arranging the dusted books in the container given to us when I come across a book, I dusted the title off, it seems like a diary or some journal, and that reminds me it's been long I have opened up my journal, I opened it and the first page I read is "Rachel Gerard, do not open unless you are Rachel Gerard" I smiled and put it back not after doing a speed glance at the write up in it, I'm so inquisitive? Yeah!.
