The others scrambling trying to get to there feet to help her. ‘No.’ A silver dragon spoke nose dived helping Apollo off the golden dragon. He landed carefully removing his wife and son before he attacked Apollo, pinning him with no problems. The gold dragon disappearing. Desiree raced up to the group helping everyone to there feet. “Desiree?” Rosco asked when she got to him. “That’s me.” She smiled just like Rosalie would. “She is inside. We need to hurry.” Rosco cried as he raced them both inside. Dominic and Ashley right behind them. The dragons dove in and helped Drezic with the others. “Avalon, she’s here, we goo….”

The hall went dead silent. Kaelan walked right through the terrified crowd, heading straight for me. The notorious, ruthless Dragon Chancellor looked at me with a rare softness in his eyes. A faint smile even played on his lips. But the next second, that smile died. His eyes locked onto the glaring blood on the back of my hand. And that humiliating shoe print. Instantly, the golden slit of a dragon flared deep within his ocean-blue eyes. "My mate." His voice, a low growl, echoed in the hall.

León nodded, breath hitching. Draco extended his claws and sliced through the rope. The fibres fell away, and León's wrists were free. He brought his hands up, rubbing them, and Draco caught one before he could pull it back. He pressed his lips to León's palm. The gesture was so tender and so unexpected that León's breath stopped. Draco's silver eyes held his as his mouth moved over León's wrist, tongue flicking out to taste his skin.

Actually, he would have helped a girl in such a situation to beat the shit out of the guy, but here he was, doing the same thing. I raise my shoulders at her. "You met him already? Who is it? Wait, I don't understand. That asshole cheated on you?" Jodie went from happy to murder in five seconds. "Jeez, relax. I guess, I did meet him. I have no idea who it is. My mother says that my dragon will tell me. She just hasn't spoken to me yet." I place my hands on her shoulders and pushed her out the door. "It kind of makes sense why your dragon hasn't spoken to you. We get our dragons young, so they learn and grow with us. At this stage, your dragon is still a baby. I think she still has to learn to talk I guess." I look at her in utter disbelief.

Slowly, he leaned in, brushing his lips against hers in a kiss that was both sweet and searing, filled with a love so deep it vibrated through the very air of the enchanted forest. As they kissed, the whole forest seemed to glow brighter, the flowers blooming larger, the stars above spinning slowly in a dance older than time.

Draco climbed on top of me a second later, his eyes ablaze and his lips hungry as they met mine in a fury of a kiss. He took advantage of my parted lips to insert his tongue into my mouth, pushing back on my tongue to feel around my mouth as he deepened the kiss. He tasted of heavy liquor and something else…something sweet, and I pushed back with my tongue, intertwining with his to savor the taste of him, kissing him back with just as much fervor as he was kissing me. Draco broke the kiss then before kissing his way down to the crook of my neck. His tongue darted out to lick the side of my neck, causing me to shiver slightly before a shock of pain travelled through my neck causing me to gasp
