My eyes fell shut as she plummeted off a cliffside, only to snap open when Draco entered the room.
I sat up, the book falling from my chest and onto the floor.
My heart fluttered at the sight of him, his shirt rumpled, unbuttoned down his broad chest. The man was so monstrously big. It should’ve terrified me, but instead I’d never felt safer.
He leaned down, his silver hair fluttering around his shoulders, and plucked the book from the floor.
“Iridian?”
I ran my tongue over my dry lips and shrugged, “Is that what it’s called? I wasn’t paying attention when I grabbed it from the shelf. It’s from Ismene’s library. Why would it be here?”
