It’s what he calls you I think because to us you smell like spicy honey.” She smirks slightly at me. “Spicy Honey? Did you have science class at your pack school?” I nod, looking confused by the questions. “I ask because bumble bees don’t actually make honey.” She laughs. “Yes we know but with the smell of honey and your black hair I think he just found it fitting. Sorry if it bothers you.”

It was rare enough to know someone who had actually gone to Iridian, and I had never heard anything that suggested my Mom might know someone. "Try this one! You'll love it." Helena flashed me a friendly smile, plucking one of the decanters from the bar cart. She grabbed a small crystal cup and perched it on her lap. The liquid was a deep shade of honey, and looked quite thin in comparison to some of the other liquids. "Is it alcohol?" I asked, smelling the contents of the glass. The honey-colored liquid smelt like toffee and freshly roasted nuts, with notes of cinnamon and clove. The depth of smell was unlike anything I had ever experienced before.

I’m not sure I could count Rosaria as a normal teenager though. Grabbing a glass of Medovukha, I sat on the new couch looking out through the windows. "This is from the hives right next to Elias's farm – his bees love the flowers in his olive groves."

I felt hands scoop me up suddenly. "Toma," I heard Sylar warn me. "You're misbehaving." "Give him a spoon full of this," Charles said from the counter, bringing a spoonfull of something yellow over to Dmitri. Dmitri frowned and looked towards it then at me then at it. "What is it?" He asked cautiously, looking hesitant as he slowly took the spoon. "Some honey and those herbs, we used to feed it all the time to the hatchlings. Dragons love honey." Charles looked towards me. "Trust me." Dmitri nodded then and looked towards me before he smiled and walked over, taking me from Sylar as he purred to me.

I could feel tears falling down my cheeks just at the sight of it. Zoey had made it for me in the first couple of weeks that I was in the Dark Moon pack. She had said that she only makes them for the most important people in her life, and that she knew I was one of her important people. She had said that the gold was reserved for the super important, and the colours were our favourite colours all entwined together just like how we would be. Just seeing this brought memories of Zoey. That made me want to laugh and cry at the same time.
