Dragonborn Ages Novels & Stories

Garbie clamped a hand over my mouth, her eyes wide as she hissed, “King Draven.” I pulled her hand away gently, rolling my eyes. “Fine, King Draven. How old is he?” Without a moment’s hesitation, she replied, “He’s over a thousand years old.” My mouth fell open, my mind struggling to process the information. “A thousand what? Years?” I whispered, utterly flabbergasted. Garbie nodded solemnly. "Yes, he's the oldest of our kind who's left. That’s why he’s the king." I tried to wrap my head around it all. A thousand years. The weight of it made me feel dizzy, but curiosity pushed me forward. "Is he your king because he’s the oldest one, or was he born in a kingdom? Like… does he have royal bloo

At the appropriate age, of course. Speaking of age, Athena is quite a bit younger than we are, apparently. Our source informed us that she is 17, turning 18 this summer. I am curious to find out when she got her dragon, to say the least. My god—her dragon is beautiful! And huge, too. She's as big as we are. She is unlike anything I have ever seen with those pitch black scales. My dragon, Zayan, nearly had a heart attack when she shifted. You see – black dragons don’t exist. They never have, as far as I am aware.

Where do I even start? "I'm not just a werewolf," I begin. "I'm Dragonborn. Hybrid of dragon and wolf, born in an age when dragons ruled the skies and magic flowed like water. That was 1,200 years ago, before humans even knew our kind existed." "Impossible," Neon says. "Nothing lives that long." "Dragons do. And those bonded to them." I pat Silverclaw's scales affectionately. "When a dragon chooses a mate, their bond extends life far beyond normal limits. Silverclaw chose me when I was barely twenty. I've been alive ever since."

If it thought it was me then. "Who am I and what am I?" I asked. " Danae Ravdylon. Bearer of the Ice Dragon." It managed to sound dry even with its kind of voice. I folded my arms and nodded. "So, you're an ice dragon and I carry you. Fair enough." It flapped its wings again. "I am 'THE' Ice Dragon. The only one. The bearers may expire but I live forever. Only I. For another to be born, I have to expire."

Sounded about right. Darren’s hand tightened on my waist, the bones of his fingers digging in just enough to let me know that he was two seconds from going full beast mode. My overprotective mate was not happy. He looked at Thorin, then at Lyra, and then at me, his expression equal parts “over my dead body” and “what fresh hell is this.” “Not until she’s thirty,” Darren said, voice gruff. Gunnar straightened, amusement flickering across his face. “The dragon tradition is sixteen. But we’re flexible.”

I ask “Draydon and I are 2500 years old and Xion is 2000 years old.” Blake answers. “Mitchell and I are 300 years old, and Payton is 200 years old,” Tye says. WOW, I was expecting them to be older, but not that old. I am guessing that the dragons are probably immortal. I bet when Kylani and Mykenzie shared their blood with the werecats, it either made them age very slowly or become immortal.

Kenny said, “but Daniel’s file said that his 45 this year, but that would make his younger half brother what 44 but he looks late 30s at best.” “Maybe time follows differently in dragon realms, I was trying to understand that one too but considering everything we’ve seen to far we should be so surprised. Or maybe Kaelor takes more after his mother genetically and it just makes him look younger than he is,” I pondered. "Sebastian mentioned that dragons age differently than other supernaturals," Kenny explained. "Their lifespans can stretch for centuries, with their aging process slowing considerably after they reach maturity. It's possible Kaelor is actually older than he appears by human sta

"Yes, my king." Standing from his throne, Toban walked towards the general. Gripping his black cape, Toban walked down the large steps to the small landing where the general stood. Adverting his gaze from Toban's, the young man continued. "That's not the only news I have." "Go on." Toban's voice echoed off the stone walls, causing the young man to lick his dry lips. "She is a Dragon Rider." Stopping in front of his general, Toban tilted his head. "She's a what?" He asked in shock.

Sir Yargand Orgen was imprisoned in the Tower of Lisbenn. I better add a age chart, to explain things. She had always been curious about her Bi-Coloured eyes, one a striking blue and the other purple however, she wouldn’t make the mistake of asking about them though. All of the puffiness had gone from her face thanks to the cold water but, her olive skin was still slightly flushed from the cold. Seraphina gave herself one last glance in the mirror before leaving her room to begin preparations for the breakfast buffet. As she arrived in the kitchen, she saw she was the first servant there and immediately began washing and chopping fruits. A few minutes later, Bethel the head servant walked in and gave her a warm smile. Bethel had been like a mother to Seraphina over the years, despite only loo
