Dragonborn Ages Novels & Stories

It will be good for him. A dragon reaches maturity and can breathe fire at one-hundred years old. The twenty-five years before full adulthood are difficult. Like most teenagers, they don't want their parents' guidance and they seek adventure, also known as trouble. With Ashrac's mathematical mind, which he gets from his mother, school will hopefully keep him away from too much misfortune. A little trouble is acceptable and expected when you're the fiercest creature in a hundred realms. But moderation is important and sadly can only be taught by making one's own mistakes. Those are always the best lessons and I know because I've learned from plenty of my mistakes.

For mosteroids, those were considered heavenly prodigies. In the past hundred years, Drake had emerged as a prodigious figure among the dragonoids, as he had reached level seven level paragon before turning thirty years of age. Awakened with the blood of the golden dragon, he aspired to become a mosteroid celestial, carrying the hopes of Thundlight's monsteroids.

If the dragon doesn’t choose you, and you try to force them into a bond, they’ll kill you. If we weren’t talking about fledgling dragons, it wouldn’t be a problem. But young dragons can’t fly right away. They need to strengthen their wings, and they eat constantly so they can support their speedy growth. Even Bynjym, who is five and a fully mature dragon, still eats a lot. Fledglings require care that a human who isn’t bonded to a dragon would know nothing about.

His face was partially shifted, snout forming, eyes sealed shut. They had forced it. Forced the change before the body was ready. Before the natural age of twenty-one, when the dragon side awakens fully and safely. They had done this to a baby. A sound broke out of me. Not a scream. Not even a cry. It was raw. Guttural. Animal. The tanks shook. Glass spider-webbed and then shattered all at once. Every single tank. The pale blue liquid poured out in waves, soaking my clothes, cutting cold into my skin.

He had never been kind or thoughtful – like Rhyland was being. “How old are you?” Lillah sat on his lap, looking up at his chiselled face. He didn’t look much older than herself, she would have guessed 18 or 19 but one of the few things she knew about dragons was that they lived for a very long time and aged very slowly. “I am 50 years old.” He smiled, placing a hand on her waist. It was large and hot; she could feel it through her clothes. “It may seem old to you but for a dragon-shifter it is young. I am only just considered an adult at this age.”

"Even Kelan and Declan hate him too. He is their father, right?" Elvira picked a small brush from the vanity, dipped it on the bronze eye shadow, and returned to me. "Yes, Lord Saxoni is the twins' father and yes, they hate him too. We all do," she answered while applying the shade on my eyelids. "Lord Saxoni is an elder dragon. He is a third cycle elder. This means he has lived way longer than us. Axel, me and the rest of the CEOs fall under the seventh cycle. Dragons can live for thousands of years. We age and die when the Universe wills it so, or we simply die in the battlefield."

Sky looked at James and asked, “If that creature truly is a ninth rank, he must have existed 1300 years ago. That would also mean that dragon blood allows one to attain immortality.” Sky grew increasingly excited. “There’s got to be a dragon here.”

"Like he was tortured?" Stefanos glanced at Wraya, who begin moving backwards like as if trying to cover himself with the trees. Stefanos knew this was a sensitive topic for the Dragon, the topic about his mother. So he just nodded, not really saying anything in the matter. Draco continued. "According to the study, a Dragon hatchling takes up to twenty five years to finish their hibernation process before they turn into full fletched adult dragons. Their life span is up to two hundred years. How old do you think is this one?"

Charlie said, “Old Master Lennard, you don’t have to be so courteous with me. There is no harm in speaking your mind.” Chandler said, “Although you have broken out of the dragon stranding predicament, getting back to the fate of the dragon that originally belongs to you is not the end! In the ‘Tales of Strange Matters’, it is recorded that it takes five hundred years to form a water dragon, a thousand years to form a dragon, and the dragon will turn into a horned dragon in five hundred years while a winged dragon would take a thousand years. This means that someone with the fate of a dragon does not really have the highest fate as there are still the horned and winged dragons above this.” Th

Towering strength grew weaker as the seasons came and went as bones went from healthy to brittle. Yes, many things had changed in the thirty years Albian had been here and still, he knew more changes were coming. Ones that carried the heartache of pain and death. Changes to more than just the world, but to the souls living in it. Changes that would shape the future...changes, the world and Albian Keystone was not ready for. “We must enjoy it while we can, Foxfire.” Albian mused. The cold nose of his four-pawed companion helped his feet shuffle a bit faster as he went from room to room gathering supplies for his journey. For the past Thirty years, the two of them had awoken and enjoyed many s
