He had carefully tended to her afterward, carrying her to the shower, bathing her from head to toe like she was a precious gem in his hoard. This man, this sexy brooding dragon of a man, who could shred a person to pieces or burn them to ashes in a second, had treated her better than any human man would ever hope. If this was what being with a dragon was like, then she wished every woman could have one, for all any woman really wants is to be loved, deeply, madly, passionately. Drago had given her this, and promised her it would always be this way. She jerked the sheet up over her bare breasts as Drago walked into the room.

“I want you to be my first, my only, lover.” I’ve heard the possessive growl of the other dragons. I’m pretty sure that mine rivals any of theirs. “Are you sure, Emmi?” “I’m sure,” she says, pulling her shirt over her head and dropping it on the ground. I lean down and take her mouth, pulling her against me as I pour my love and passion into the kiss. She needs to know what she’s getting into. My mind raced for the right words. “You said you could help me. You said the ones in the past didn’t come to you and that’s what brought about their demise,” I began. My voice was quiet but firm as I recounted everything that she said. She listened without interrupting, her expression cold. When I finished, I met her gaze. “I really need your help,” I said at last. “Is there any way you can assist me?” She cleared her throat, her expression thoughtful. “Many people in the past have become pregnant by the dragon lord, Vladimir,” she said slowly. “But they all ended up dead, killed by forces no one has ever identified before they could give birth.”

They managed to make contraptions and weapons that where stronger then dragons. The mate took the gem because other humans where closing in and there was a rat amongst the dragons. It was her last effort to save the dragons, one even her mate knew had to be done. They where separated and not because they wanted to be but because a wedge was forced through. She ran as hard as she could trying to keep not only herself safe but the child within her. A child that was even kept from her mate. Yes, I was an earth dragon, but unlike my brothers, I was also a gifted dragon, just like Adam. Adam was the Emerald dragon, while I, Urien Dragnoir, had the Onyx dragon. A pure black beast. Elisa gasped and then ran her hand over my snout, and my dragon melted into her, and then huffed, lowering his head.

Loras adds. "Now that my dragon is a girl, that means we are going to have dragon babies?" Astrid asks looking excited at Dracos and Aine. The two dragons give her a scolding look.
