Keyla wondered if her abilities were being tested. “Yes, of course, Guardian.” She concentrated, then cast a “shell of silence” spell. It encompassed only herself and the Dragon, and no sound would pass through it.
Nayara nodded in approval, then lowered herself to her belly, in order to better speak to Keyla at her level. Keyla was enthralled by the large blue eyes that regarded her thoughtfully. The Dragon’s warm breath had a hint of Sulphur as she spoke. “The enemy is preparing to attack. The Na’Himara shall be greatly needed. Are you prepared?”
