He gritted his teeth as the ground shook again, knowing fully well one dragon had fallen. "The troops are looking good," his third in command, Hydra Reye commented standing beside him. Hydra Reye had three other brothers, all identical to him. After all, they were quadruplets. All four of them had one dragon called Hydra, a four-headed beast who breathed out a deadly mixture of fire and poisonous venom and was the third-largest dragon in the kingdom. Because they had one dragon, Pete, Gavin, Rey, and Louis could not shift or transform into their beast unless all of them were present which was one of their biggest disadvantages in the instance that one of them was to be captured by the enemy.

The three men trudge up the stairs. The group meets up in the Alpha's office. Luke makes himself comfortable on the couch. Verona’s eyes went fiery red at the sight of a half-dozen dragons filling up the room. Her voice was rich with hostility as she hissed, “You dare step foot in Meta territory?” “Spare me,” Myriana said as she set fire to Verona with her breath.

His body is tossed high and I have hope that the Goddess has taken our offer and will save him. His dragon explodes from his human body with a burst of light that's impossible to look at. "Ahhhh, hell," screams Sarn and the magic behind me bursts again. I dare to glance back. Sierra and Sarn are the most incredibly brilliant purple dragons. "What the hell," I mutter.

Grumpy asked, his low voice rumbled through my own. "You are her familiars. Dragons of the Old Faith, you will aid her in battle. Be her refuge in times of suffering. Her anchors as she plays with the stars. Her peace in times of chaos." I gulped audibly. "You're not particularly good at selling this whole heroine thing. I could feel something moving through me, an attraction that I hadn’t felt before. Sure, he was tall, dark, and handsome. His cheekbones were high and his body looked like something that had been molded by the gods. It didn’t explain why a part of me wanted to lay my head down against him. The large dark green almost black one dipped its head to him, its corn-flower blue eyes sparkled. It’s body bunched down before it launched itself into the sky, I
