I fall to the floor when he shifts to his human form. "Boy, you cannot stop me. I will have the silver dragon's egg, it is mine by right." I pull my legs beneath me and inhale a large amount of air. I let everything go and the flame I knew I possessed shoots from my mouth. Drakon's roar hurts my ears but not enough that I don't hear his words. "You are dead, boy."

Sarah’s mother glares at me while the two Elders – Alpha Jeremy and Alpha Griffin, stand up and greet Clyde and me. “It’s an honour to finally meet you, Your Highness,” Elder Jeremy smiles as he inclines his head. Clyde nods in acknowledgement. Dragons were considered one of the most powerful beings and meeting a Dragon king was considered an honour. “Why don’t we begin this meeting?” Dad murmurs, his eyes never wavering from us. I noticed the clench of his jaw and mom’s anxious gaze. Uncle Tristan had left. Ava sat in one of the chairs at the side while mom sat beside dad. Elias hovered near the window.

But if I told them the truth, maybe they would take me back to Thornwood. “A werewolf.” I said as loud as I could muster. Collective gasps broke out around me. Gasps of shock and disdain. Hydra Reye smiled nodding, "They are big," he replied with a slight chuckle. The Tydrons were the only other species of Hydra in the dragon army. Dragonsteel. I cursed under my breath. “This isn’t scrap metal. It’s armor-grade. Weaponized. The kind my family makes.” Nora’s jaw tightened as she skimmed the page, her fingers brushing the ink. “Delivered to… gods. To rival packs. Hawthorne rivals. Your family’s enemies.” She looked up at me, firelight catching the sharp edge of her cheekbone. “Caelum, this isn’t random theft. Someone’s routing shipments straight to those who would burn you.”

"Evander has cursed Priam with a geass. You are going to break through it and bring Priam back to his correct state of mind. Therefore the protection rune so you will not be harmed by going into Priam's head, and a Dispelling rune, in case another geass has been set for whoever tries to help him." I cocked my head as i went through every word he said. When i finished, i stood and turned around. These burn hotter than any furnace. Once the eggshell has been melted down, it can never be melted again," Soren explains all this easily so I can understand.
