A Heart of Silver and Fur

A Heart of Silver and Fur

He had said he would give Rafe's father a week to find his son and tell him to bring Ivy back before something bad would happen to him. Rafe's father felt a strange warmth as the witch doctor also concurred to the idea. It was good to warn people before striking them with something, he nodded as he finished speaking and continued to chant. They both watched the witch doctor and soon he was in a trance. He looked as if he were in a different world, where he could see and communicate with spirits. He said Ivy was standing in front of him. He reached out to her and she refused to follow him. The witch doctor said it was because Rafe had refused to release her and his father needed to warm him t

I am the dragon III

I am the dragon III

I squirted water from a bottle into his face and he gingerly opened his eyes and looked around in complete bewilderment. “Oliver Carnegie, you have hereby been charged with the distribution of illegal substances to humans and have been found guilty,” Felix said. “You’re not dragonkin,” Oliver spat at him. “But I am,” I said as I emerged from the shadows. “You’re a traitor to your own kind,” he said with disgust. “My name’s Ryder Grey and I’ll be your executioner today,” I said as his dragon separated from him and roared at me. “He just had to go there,” Felix said as he leaned back against the van.

Magnus: Dragon Prince

Magnus: Dragon Prince

As soon as he took her hand he felt a sudden rush of warmth fill his body, he could hear the man start to say something, he couldn't make out the words even though he was close to him. Looking down at Iris he noticed that the ek'real in his hand had sprouted a fire on the end, like a candle! 'Blow on the fire youngling, it's time' That was the same voice that came to him at the river! This time the voice was much clearer than before, the sound was very deep and he could feel the weight on the words that were spoken.

This is actually a book! Most of the things I read on here have chapters consisting of 800 words or less This on the other hand has chapters that are 2k words on avg. plus the content is amazing. It could use a better editor cause there are a few gramatical errors, but overall, its my favorite book!
Luke Dolan
Very good world building, intriguing story, and decent characters. I'll be honest, I was just glad to find something on this app that wasn't smut. can't wait for more chapters, I've become very attached to the storyline and want to explore the world more.

THE MANOR OF WINTER SECRETS

THE MANOR OF WINTER SECRETS

“Lirael’s cries still echo deeply within these stones. We will no longer allow the cycle of violence to continue unbroken.” The hall instantly erupted into a chaos of wild murmurs and shouting. Draven’s face darkened with intense fury. In response to the spirit's words, the manor’s crystalline veins blazed with a brilliant, blinding gold light for a brief, dazzling moment before settling back into their uneasy, shifting balance.

Entwined Fates

I said and she bit her lower lip. "Fine. What do you know about the twin moons?" She asked. I shrugged. "We only know that Amyra is afraid of it" I said. She laughed. "Amyra isn't afraid of it, love. She's terrified. It's the only thing that can change everything and ruin her plans" she said, her eyes glinting mischievously. "How do you know that?" Devon asked. "Why won't I know that? I am the great great granddaughter of Ivagon Baryza, the druid who made the prophecy of the three most dangerous creatures in the universe. I am a druid"

Drake says. “Does it say how you will change the world, bringing the broken factions together?” I ask. He frowns at me. “Did you read it?” “No, I didn’t have to. It’s what you’re doing.” After the first night, the tension goes away and over the next week, we meet GoldMoon, the Ceryneian Hind from Greek mythology, the techrechauns, the trolls, and finally, we got to meet Lucero, the unicorn.

I’ve read all the book in this spin off series from the original Guardian series. This is by far my favorite of the 4. There’s some overlap but I feel it brings all tho other books together. The story is fantastic and the characters make you feel. I will definitely read this one again.

The Alpha's Wolfless Mate

The Alpha's Wolfless Mate

Penny held up a small, leather-bound book, its pages filled with ancient runes and cryptic symbols. “This book holds the key, the potential cure for Draven’s curse. It’s an old, forgotten remedy, passed down through generations of healers, a secret whispered in the shadows of the forest.” The room buzzed with excitement and anticipation. They had found a glimmer of hope, a chance to save Draven, to bring him back from the brink of madness. A chance to bring back their beloved Alpha, their leader, their friend.

Moonbound to the Alpha Triplets

Moonbound to the Alpha Triplets

Raven looked at me with his dark blue eyes and said, "Moonbound. Now you must follow your gut and your courage. Every bond, every heartbeat—your Silver Heart is the key!" Draven was hit by the second strike. I twisted, molten energy flaring, blocking the dark fire that was aimed at him. Sparks flew across the forest in a violent way, sending red, silver, black, and crimson streaks. My chest hurt and my heart was racing, but I felt the bond—our hearts beating in perfect sync.

Moon's Embraced

Moon's Embraced

He bared his sharp teeth, his gravelly voice cutting through the silence. Rohan, a lone and ruthless rogue wolf, stood at the edge of a cliff, his eyes fixed on the night sky. The full moon illuminated his rugged features, revealing the weight of memories etched on his soul. He was lost in the past, reliving the fateful day when his family was banished from the Moonstone Pack by Ryder's father, Alpha Damien.

The Druid Wolf Curse

I explained. “Hmm, I see,” she mumbled while preparing two sandwiches. Bringing them to the kitchenette, she handed me one and then sat down next to me. “You're a druid wolf and will have a high sex drive. That is probably why Dante thinks poorly of you. Plus, I personally believe that Goddess Medeina was a full-blood druid,” she shook her head, then took a bite. Furrowing my brow, I screwed up my face and growled, “Then WHY is HE my mate?!

'Druids' by Morgan Llywelyn definitely crossed my radar. From what I've found, there isn't an official audiobook release for this particular novel, which is a shame because Llywelyn's vivid portrayal of ancient Celtic culture would sound incredible narrated aloud. I remember reading the paperback years ago and getting completely lost in the atmospheric descriptions—imagine hearing the rustle of oak leaves or the chanting of druids in a professional audio production! It's the kind of book that practically begs for a voice actor with a deep, resonant tone to do it justice.

That said, I did stumble upon some amateur recordings and text-to-speech conversions floating around on niche forums, though the quality varies wildly. If you're desperate to listen rather than read, checking out platforms like Audible's 'Notify Me' feature might be worthwhile in case they add it later. Personally, I'd love for a publisher to partner with someone like Steven Pacey or Kobna Holdbrook-Smith—their narration could elevate the mystical elements to another level. Until then, I might just have to revisit my dog-eared copy and try imagining the voices myself!
