Drake’s POV Drake stood under the water in his shower and lifted his head into the spray. He was tired, somewhat depressed and bored. Troy was being kept busy with international investors, King Maxim and their other businesses. He needed to find his mate, his wolf was already agitated and becoming more ruthless as time went by. He travelled with Troy, extensively and on his own. It’s been years and he’d started to believe that she was dead or had taken a chosen mate. He’d never know.

The leader of the Village, known as Trenton, stepped forward as his gaze narrowed on Cyran and Kellan. “I don’t think we properly introduced ourselves the last time I was here. My name is Azura Chasm, I am mated to Cyran Chasm and the Keeper of the Dragon Stone. They are here because we need your help.” All eyes moved from Kellan in his Dragon form and Cyran as they landed on me with surprise. Feeling awkward, I shifted from one foot to the other. While also feeling as if I was experiencing every high schooler’s nightmare, standing in front of class naked.

Drake paused for a while and then switched on a large screen television. He pointed at the television. "That over there is a pink colored flash drive which he mostly carries around wherever he goes and it is rumored to contain information that could help in bringing him to the books. Your mission is to get the flash drive and make it go missing without him having to notice."

Drake asks while staring at Celine and then looks at the avatar. "Of course not, doctor! You are a true genius and that's how my master sees you. If you don't like it, you can tell me what to call you instead." Dos seems to be capable of being wise on its own. She doesn't need to teach it anymore. "So, you think I'm a genius?" Drake asked Celine. "Of course, doctor! I'm here in the future because of you right?" Celine replied. Drake smiles widely and turns to the metal box with his avatar. He opened it and turned on the A.I. robot that resembles him. If the robot can absorb their knowledge, then his robot must also be a genius.

They stood silently watching their son as he held onto his mates hand as the doctors were trying unsuccessfully to insert a drip into her veins. “Alpha, she is not human and not a were can you tell me what she is?” The doctor questioned. Looking into the Alpha’s eyes the doctor shuddered and quickly lowered his head in submission as he caught a glimpse of the Alpha’s eyes. It was fully black meaning that his wolf was in control. “She is a dragon,” Tomas spoke up from the doorway. “Alric, I know you are worried about your mate but you need to let Rook come back to us. He is the only one who knows how to help your mate.”

Looking at James, he slowly spilled out some words, “Master Drake, there’s one thing about Young Master Drake that I’m not sure if I should report.” Looking at Spectre Face’s hesitant expression, James’s heart suddenly felt uneasy. He permitted, with his brows furrowed, “Spill it!” “I’ve heard that Young Master Drake has been visiting some entertainment centers lately and that he’s been mingling with a friend of Michael Wilson. That friend is a young master from a third-class family, and he’s got a stinky reputation.”

"Don't worry, I'll roll with the punches," Drake said as he held his shoulder with a pained expression. However, he was definitely worthy of his status. He did not cry out in pain even after what had happened. "Because if I don't, I'll never have the chance to kill you slowly. I believe that day won't be too far!" Harvey said with a smile. "Kill me? You aren't worthy yet." And then, Harvey extended his hand and held Drake's shoulder. A surge of energy quietly entered Drake's veins.

Beginning at the tail I scour my way towards the head only to flip the creature and redo the process on the other side. Drakho comes forward portraying his dominance baring his teeth at all the females displaying his rejection of their scandal as they whimper and bow their heads in reverence to his authority. When he shifts to regard me his bizarre globes glimmer with tenderness, he is seeing my skills just as he promised me.

I pulled the oversized hoodie tighter around my shivering, bruised frame, forcing myself to hold his stare despite the wild trembling in my hands. "And your precious team?" Drake cackled, clutching his arm tight to stem the dark crimson flow. "Good luck winning shit without one of your best fighters! I know every strategy, every play, every weakness. I’ll snitch all your tactics to the rival packs. Good luck winning!" Creed didn't grant him the dignity of a response. He stood like an immovable mountain between us, his cold, golden eyes watching Drake with absolute, lethal detachment. Realizing he was completely powerless, Drake turned his lethal glare toward his trembling Northern partner.

“Your proposal of ‘mastery’ or your proposal of ‘prisoner of destiny’?” “Both are intertwined,” he said, leaning back, crossing his arms. He was studying me, trying to read my intentions. Don't give him anything. “Drake focused on control, on containment. He saw your power as a wildfire to be tamed. I see it as a nuclear reactor, capable of immense, controlled destruction. You need to learn how to wield that, not just cage it.”
