She went down on her bead, placed the book into the side table, and flipped it to the next page to continue reading. She creased her forehead when she noticed that the next page was torn out. “No. This can’t be happening,” she silently whispered while shaking her head, disapprovingly. The strong wind of night air passes through the glass window pane, causing the pages to flip in one second. Dawn made a frustrated groan when she could find the page where she read it. The knock from the door interrupts her from searching the page to look for the interesting one.

Alessia excuses herself and heads to the safe—to get the three cut out pages she too from her late father's secret safe and retrieves the three pages she has guarded all her life without knowing why. She hands them to Donato. He inserts the pages into the ancient spine of the Great Black Book. The book breathes—literally—and the ink ripples across the cover like waking veins. Donato opens it. Alessia's name shines on the first page. Everyone freezes. With each sentence Donato reads, the language shifts, twisting into new forms. And with each page, Donato ages—ten years older, his face sagging, hair silvering before our eyes. "Stop reading the book!" Daisy and Ms. Lauretta cry together.

Aside from that, there were no clues about the drugs. Not willing to give up, Maia kept flipping through the pages one after another. I sat on the desk, pulled out a the a book where I have been writing about the Demon king, Zemia. It was like a diary, where I wrote all the things Zemia does on a daily bases. I drafted a few things down and then got off my chair, I got on my kneels and kept the book on the bottom shelf, I pulled out a big book with leaves printed on the cover. I sighed when I stared at the faded inks of the last page, I was able to save the first pages but it was suscpious like she did it intentionally or it was a hiding message.

Flipping to the next page, I try to see if there's any indication of a title, since neither the front page nor first page have one. I don't see anything of the sort. Instead, I find a paragraph of ink marks that look similar to the one on the first page. "Is this a joke?" I flip to the next page and find the same handwriting, but the text in this one looks longer. Groaning, already starting to get irritated by the seemingly pointless search, I flip through some more pages, hoping that I find something meaningful. Rather, most of the pages of the book are blank. Just bare sheets of paper.

In addition, she had filled the basket with plenty of tasty drinks that tasted like fruit juice. It was everything one could possibly want if they were going to lie on a blanket in the beautiful summer sun and read a book about elven history. And that was only volume one! I wondered how many volumes there were in total. I opened the big book and could smell the traces of time in it. All I hoped for was that it wouldn’t be too dry to read.

From what I can gather, this book is talking about the history of a demonic dimension and how it came about. “This isn’t the right one.” “I’ll keep looking.” She puts the book away and moves down the bookshelf, running her fingers over each spine as she searches. I go the opposite way, painstakingly reading each and every title.

‘What does it want to show me now this time? I don’t know what I should see now with these things, but I am looking forward to it. On the screens, I saw the scenes that happened over the course of around six months. Time sure flies quickly. Many things happened already and here I am, still stuck in the first page of the novel. On one of the screens, I saw the last scene I was in. Seeing it now with my own eyes, I seemed to have been surrounded by something black. Is that a smoke?
