Just… slower than before. Jace stepped through anyway, legs shaking, heart racing, the roughness inside him blazing like a wound that refused to close.

Jazz broke down. Dex stared at the empty dark space outside as if he could sense something coming from it. "Long time!" Lev smiled at his brother. Dex glared at him. I don't trust them not to try something while we're distracted by the fight. As Jock and I move to another demon, I see Xantha whisper something to Surtur. What are they planning?
