A scream tore from my throat, echoing through the trees as fear coursed through me. But the panic of being trapped was paled by the roar that erupted nearby. I whipped my head around, my breath catching in my throat. A massive polar bear emerged from the underbrush, its great white form contrasting against the snow, eyes locking onto me with a predatory glare. I shrieked as my heart jumped into my throat—luckily, surprise and fear seemed to work in my favor. The bear, startled, turned and bolted away, disappearing into the depths of the forest.

In the next second, I suddenly had a feeling of danger and the hair on my arm stood on its end, without hesitation, I jumped towards the opposite direction. That was when I saw the source of danger, it is an enormous brown bear, it looked at the dead bear, then at me and let out a thunderous roar that made me dizzy for a second. ~ Gulp ~ I gulped in fear when I suddenly realised something , I looked at the dead bear and the bear in front of me and then, Oh shit, they are fucking couples. The bear looked at me with red eyes. I did not make another prompt as I immediately tried to escape .

It was a low growl, followed by the rustling of leaves and twigs. "What is that?" I asked, trying to stare in the dark direction the sound was coming from. Ashton's expression turned serious as he scanned the surroundings, and his arms tightened around me. Then a growl vibrated in his chest. "Bears. But they are not just bears. They're werebears." I gasped, hugging him back as though my life depended on it. Ashton's grip on me tightened even more, his eyes scanning the area for any signs of danger. The growls grew louder and closer, making my blood run cold.

Werebears are giant, demonic bears with glowing eyes, and now one is on the loose inside my mansion? Fuck-fuck-fuck! I pull at the chains some more.
