I heard a noise from Koniee's room. I sprint my way to his room with Bear on my left hand. Luckily, I didn't lock it so I stepped in. Only to see him crawling into balls. We have the same size and I know how small his body is and he's crawling into bed. I heard him mumbling some words, almost incoherent. He's having a nightmare again. He really looks so small, just as I am. I crawled next to him with my hands caressing his knitted brows. I placed Bear on the night table, facing our side. I like it cause it's like he's watching me.

Her dad asked but she was still panting heavily that she couldn't reply. "I had a nightmare,a strange nightmare"She said taking a deep breath. "What happened in the nightmare?"Her mother asked with the enthusiasm of knowing what happened to her in the nightmare. "I saw two beast,one was a werewolves while one was a vampire..they were chasing me..one was after my brain and the other was after flesh"She replied. That was not a dream. It really happened ten years ago, yet it is still fresh in his mind. His head is still throbbing from the hangover. My eyes blurred for a moment as tears of frustration sprung to my eyelids before I swallowed past the bile, the rustic red wallpaper jeering me out of my musings right before I felt my chest slap heavily against what must have been a tree trunk. “Dammit Xander, what the fuck’s wrong with you? Watch where you're going!” Fredrick’s frenzied voice screeched and I reared back to frown at him, catching the crazed look of rage in his eyes before the furrow between his eyebrows fell and the passion left his eyes.

He ordered, his voice too cold for a Man who had just melted such punishment on his only child. “Father, no, you can't- Please.” I let out, my eyes starting to well with tears while my voice quivered. I could almost smell the blood oozing from the cut in my heart. The wound deepened the moment he turned around, ignoring my plea. “Please exit the building, Ma,” Fred said, and I let the tears out. “Free, don’t listen to Father. He is just kidding. I’m sure. Father will never…” My voice cracked, my throat hurting. “Father will never do this to me.”

Kaidaira's POV “Babe" "Babe” “Sebastian!" I call his name, a sense of fear overcoming me. He is having another nightmare and this time worse than the first time. His face is a mask of pure pain and anger. I have never seen him like this. Using my hands, I try to steady his face to stop him from throwing fervently but his strength exceeds mine. I clean the beads of sweat on his face and bare chest but he is still not responding, rather he is still vibrating in his sleep. Doing the first thing that comes into my mind, I straddle him, using my weight to hold him down.

I would have given my life for you. As darkness crept in at the edges of my vision, a desperate prayer formed in my mind. Please... not like this. Not after ten years of lies. If there's a God... if there's mercy at all... let me fix this, let me protect them, let me become the monster they think I am. My heart gave one last jagged thud. My eyes closed on the image of Silas and Loanne standing over me, their shadows merging into one. Then, everything faded into cold, heavy darkness.
