She managed to scream out. Zander's head spun around. His eyes landed on a large Kodiak bear. Shit! If he had his supernatural sense of smell, he would have been able to pick up on its presence sooner. The bear growled. Zander's eyes scanned the area. He realised he was on its territory. "Hazel, don't move." She didn't answer, but he knew she nodded her head. This bear was huge, but Gidian was still bigger. He didn't want to hurt it. He protected the animals that lived in the area.

He asked what it meant and his mom explained the blood. "So she internally bleeds every month. Jeez." Demitri said. He never considered Becca a girl, but now it was too apparent to ignore. He felt terrible that she has to go through that for no reason. Demitri took a walk down to the grocery store and bought some of Becca's favourite gummy bears. She liked when they were bigger because then she could bite the head off better. Demitri knocked and Becca answered. "Oh hi." she said, hoping that Demitri didn't come over to hang out. She was in no shape or mood to do so.

Its glaring eyes fell on them and it roared. “What are you doing you, bozo! Run!” he dragged Dylan and rushed to the other side of the shore. Brown bears are good at swimming and climbing. Climbing a tree or swimming away was useless. even running was useless. When you provoke a bear like this, the only option is the appear big and let out a loud sound and hope and pray that it will be deterred it from pursuing them. Dylan instantly shifted into his wolf form. his blue eyes changed into deep golden shade and he let out a threatening growl.

Becky ran her hand tiredly over her face. “He claimed a group is trying to use that disc to create a portal to enter our realm and start a war. He claimed some are here already and they are terrorizing unsuspecting people. Oh, and he said he and his cousin are duel-natured. Human and bear. I’m not sure what he meant. Maybe a werewolf but a bear instead of a wolf?”

I don’t know what they would like. Perhaps Maddie will? I look over at the sleeping woman. As if some supernatural force unseen to make the maid know my thoughts, Maddie begins to mutter in sleep. “No…not the bears again. They…can’t fit the dress.” She flops over to lie on her stomach. Another loud snort follows. “Bears?” I repeat. A bear? Like a- oh, that can work. I smile at the sleeping woman. “Thank you, Maddie,”

But a quick question: what were the chances of a defenceless human winning against a bear? Shit. Why the hell was a bear here anyway? The highest I was expecting was at least a deer. The furry beast took a step closer, and I took one back. Its claws came into full view, as did its sharpened teeth. Fear shot up my spine as I realized my chances of outrunning this beast were second to none. Damien, where are you? As soon as that thought popped up in my mind, his words from earlier came after. "A day will come when the people you love won’t be around to save you." Well, he could have been a bit more specific and said it was today!

But the loud roar of a bear made her stop. "Please tell me that isn't a were-bear." Grace whimpered, trying to hide behind a tree. Her brown eyes widen as the bear roared again, her ugly tiny square shaped face, that is most time hidden by her ginger hair, held fear. "Stand your ground. We can take it. A were-bear is nothing but a senseless animal when in its beast form." Davina told her friends, trying to be tough. When the were-bear broke into the clearing, Kora stumbled back. A scream escaped her pouty pink lips and tears filled her grey eyes.

This is reckless and dangerous! In my panic, the bear drew nearer, and I could already smell the stench from its gaping mouth. I steeled myself, used one arm and one leg to pry its jaws open, and with my other hand drew the dagger strapped to my waist, plunging the metal straight into the bear’s eye. Instantly, the grizzly roared in pain and collapsed with the force of an earthquake.

As we step outside I shiver, the cold icy air hits me, almost making my teeth chatter, the temperature comparison to inside way worse than I expected Drake lifts baylee and he takes my hand “Where to?” He asks, she points to the forest, he frowns taking a step towards it, but then he stops. “Are you sure? There are bears out there you know?” “I know but they are no match against my daddy” She tells him proudly, he snorts walking on “I thought I’m a rooster?” She giggles “No but you act like one when your scared of nana” “Hey nana is scary, you just don’t know that because she’s always on your side”
