My claws extended without conscious thought, and before I knew it, before I could stop myself or even think to try, the mirror was in shards at my feet. The crash echoed through the abandoned wing, a sound like thunder and breaking hearts. Each piece that hit the stone seemed to take a piece of that impossible hope with it, scattering fragments of what might have been across the dusty floor. I stood in the wreckage, chest heaving, hands bleeding from where the glass had bitten deep, surrounded by a thousand fractured reflections that showed me nothing but darkness. But still... something lingered.

You wear her bones.” Suddenly, the mirror cracked—from the inside. Black static spilled out. And Mira woke up screaming. Carl was at her side in seconds. “What is it?”

He seemed to fool everyone that he has moved on. "Cole, are you okay?" I barged at his room when I heard something breaking. "Get out. You can't be in here." He stated as he was trying to get up from the floor with the broken glass and bottle. "Let me help you." I stated as I tried to assist him. "I dropped them on the floor. I am not that drunk Andrea. Get out of my room. We have an agreement that you would not set foot in here." He stated firmly.

…Jenna POV… They ask why, why does a woman stay with a man that hurts her, physically hurts her? When does one blue eye become too much? One broken lip, one too many. When does hiding the bruises become impossible? When is enough really enough? So here I am staring at myself in the mirror, and looking back is a shadow of a woman, a woman that I used to be. Of course, she really won't regret breaking up with him after what she saw. Who wouldn’t when everything she saw scarred her heart? Someone tapped Lyken’s shoulder, it was Kobe. Then Honey hugged him, she was crying. He knew she's hurt seeing her best friend like this. It was the same for him.

I hold the picture up for her to see, “and here is you kissing him. You can't see his face clearly for the obvious reason that his face is buried on yours but you can see his tattoo, clearly identifying him.” I was ready to give her the world, I put her first in everything and that still wasn't enough for her. “I'm an idiot,” I murmured, staring into her eyes one more time feeling more broken than ever. “I never want to see you again. Get out of my house” I say quietly. “Adam, I don't know who's behind this or what they stand to gain from it but I need you to remember the promise you made to me.
