The old pier was a relic of a time long gone, its wooden planks warped and creaking, a testament to decades of disuse. The sea beyond was dark, churning with the approaching storm. The wind whipped around Alex as he stepped onto the pier, every muscle in his body coiled with tension. He knew this was a trap, set by David and Evelyn, but he didn't care. The image of Sophie, her face lined with fear in that grainy photo, was all that mattered.

“Huh, nothing happened. Maybe what you see is a lie, this black shadow is our friend. This black shadow has helped me obtain this blue dragon crystal. Come here, others will come too. We will take all these treasures out and rebuild our power! ” This man was still hesitating, he half dared to approach his master. At that instant those who were waiting along with the other black shadows came here. The man with his chin approached the fake first uncle. " Let's just say I am Shadow's associate. I handle the... physical aspect of our business." The man explained. I didn't like the sound of that. " What's your name?" Damon asked. " Ghost." The man replied. " That's not a real name." Damon countered. The man chuckled, like Damon just said something hilarious.

When the man began talking, it felt like he was covering her body in warm honey. "I must apologize to you. I'm Alpha Gunnar of The Shadow Howlers. My head warrior showed me evidence that you had been kidnapping humans. When I looked closer at the evidence, I couldn't determine if what he said was true, so I wanted to do more investigating. Omar?" Alpha Gunnar looked at the warriors, and the large one in front stepped forward, his neck bare in submission. "Yes, alpha." He answered in more of a growl. "Why have you set out to destroy this pack?" Gunnar asked. However, it wasn't Omar who answered.

She hit record for a quick voice note. “Episode Two teaser,” she whispered, her voice still husky from everything that had happened today. “When the shadow claims you, do you run… or let it swallow you whole?” She uploaded it, then closed the app. One small piece of her life that still belonged only to her. Her phone lit up with three new messages. Jake: *8 a.m. sharp. Or the video goes live.*

I hear my name and watch as the mist slowly begins to morph into the shape of a man. My body starts to tremble and when I try to get up to run I'm frozen and can't do anything but watch. The black shadow man gets closer and reaches out, almost touching me. I open my mouth to scream but nothing comes out. He backs away immediately and I'm suddenly flushed with a renewed sense of calm. I'm no longer terrified, but just like the house, I sense something very alluring about him. When the shadow man reaches for me again, I flinch, jerking myself away. Everything fades.
