The dream came on a night when the moon was full and the stars seemed brighter than usual. Kai found himself standing in a vast, empty field beneath a sky the color of deep purple. The air was still and heavy, and the ground beneath his feet was covered in soft, silver grass that shimmered with an otherworldly light. A figure stood in the distance, silhouetted against the horizon. Kai walked toward her, his feet moving without effort, drawn by an unseen force. As he drew closer, he recognized the flowing robes and silver hair of the Dreamer.

As Anna rode the elevator to the fifth floor, she couldn’t help but feel like she was suspended in a dream, disconnected from everything.
