In the dream, my Dream-self closes her eyes, losing herself in the moment, but when she opens them, it is no longer Jason she is with but Nick—well, to be accurate, Nick in his David Brennan look-alike disguise (the same disguise he used to seduce me back in Minnesota). The Subconscious-Me wants to jump into the dream-world so that I can scream and slap some sense into the Dream-Me. But I can’t, and Dream-Me—unaware of Subconscious-Me’s protestations—does not recoil from the sudden change of romantic partner, but if anything responds with even more fervor. I really hate Dream-Me.

The weekend went by fast and 'not really' eventful with the best friends hanging out and soon it was Monday again. Dream sat on her bed, her face was smeared with drool and her hair scattered like a bird nest. It was one thing about her that literally no one knew about, she was an extremely bad sleeper. She threw her hand above her head and bent her upper body before opening her mouth to yawn loudly. She did her routine stretches, brushed her teeth and sauntered back to her room. She picked her phone and texted Jackie, Hey bae ;) She checked her school's group chat.

she looked up at me, dabbing her hands on her dirty napkin “I wondered why the goddess never allowed me to see everything, but she wanted to show it to you herself,” The dreams. Daryl had been the masked man in the nightmares I had. The scenario had played exactly how I’d been seen it in my dreams, but I’d not been able to decipher it in time. “I can’t deny I had the dreams, but I never actually got to see who was behind the mask,” I explained “The dreams started the first night I slept in this pack. Prior to that, I’d never dreamt of anything of the sort, and I discarded it as just another nightmare until it became recurrent,”

He smiles and replies, “Just call me Greg, and please do keep it a secret. ” He nods and says to him, “I understand, it seems you are a secret yourself. Why all the secrecy? You have not committed any crimes have you?” He doesn’t speak rather he nods and walks towards the room, this time, he doesn’t stop him. After the long sentences, he allows him to enter the room, he walks toward her slowly and he looks down at the sleeping beauty. He is about to remove his mask but he sees her stir in her sleep so he stops and walks closer to her. She opens her eyes and stares right at him, he looks down at her and says to her,

she whispered quietly as she looked around the room. The curiosity and concern overwhelmed me as I looked at my longtime friend. I leaned in close to her and asked just as quietly, “What is it?” “Well,” she began taking another look around the room before continuing. “I have been having dreams as well but not of Laylan, or unicorns, or fairies, or anything like that. I always thought that maybe I just had multiple personalities and the other happened to be a man named Daemon. But recently, I have been dreaming dreams as if they were his memories or something,” she stopped and looked at me.
