I could hear the rustling of sheets on his end, like he was lying down. Then—“What’s your biggest dream?” I hesitated. Because my dream… my real dream… Wasn’t just engineering. “I don’t know,” I lied. He hummed. “Liar.” I groaned. “Next question.” He chuckled again, but didn’t push. We kept going. More questions.
