Vonn dragged me to the market to pick up a ton of groceries, eager to whip up a feast. Later, we relaxed with a couple of drinks. There was an old saying that went, 'An idle mind is the devil's workshop.' That was exactly what I found happening to myself. "Vonn, take a break." I wrapped my arms around her, the warmth and softness of her presence sparking my imagination. Her cheeks were rosy, and she had the allure of a woman in full bloom.

[Rachel's POV] I woke up in a cold sweat, my heart pounding in my chest. The vivid images from my dream lingered in my mind, replaying like a haunting movie. A lycan and a wolf locked in a fierce battle, a woman and a little girl running for their lives. The terror of the chase, the slashing claws, and the echoing screams filled my ears. It was a recurring nightmare that had haunted me since childhood.

I shudder, my skin crawling at the sight. “Ugh, spiders,” I mutter, feeling the color drain from my face. Karl looks at me, then back at the spiders. “You want to go back?”

Petra's P.O.V. When I see the enormous spider above us, I want to die. I'm not scared of much, but spiders are the one thing I'm terrified of, with their weird eyes, eight legs, and hairy bodies. I seriously have to stop thinking about the damn thing if I'm going to have any chance of getting us out of here.

I just cried while feeling weak asking for help even though I knew no one would hear me because it was still school hours. I don't know where the three big spiders are because my vision is getting blurry but I can feel them crawling on different parts of my body. I have a phobia of spiders so that's all I'm afraid of. I don't even know what happened next because it suddenly blacked out. When I woke up I was in the clinic. I don't know who found me and brought me here but I am grateful to whoever it was. "Oh iho, what about us," said mother gently.
